    Girl, you just saved me a ton of time building out a payment solution with a form for my shuttle business. Thank you, thank you, thank you. From a Baby Boomer trying to keep up with this digital world.

    Is there a way to link the submission to a payment when the e-mail of the payment and the entry field on gravity forms is different?

    Thanks for taking the time to lay out such great instructions!
    So it looks like I could (1) manually build my own "check out" page… (2) Use Gravity with PayPal … (3) and not even worry about hooking up an SSL certificate to the page because my customers will be sent off the page anyway, huh?
    I was digging into Stripe… but I seem to be hitting some tech-overwhelm walls where this seems to be the easier setup (and fees are the same I think)
    WebTegrity, anything I'm missing or have any more insight based on all that?

    I love these Gravity Forms videos! Is it possible to allow the person filling out a registration form enter the dollar amount. I want to add a conditional "other" choice on my application drop down menu. Sometimes we want to make a price adjustment for a registration and want the application to reflect that amount, and the amount of adjustment varies. Thank you!

    Thanks for the info. Is there a way to set up sales tax on Gravity Form without using a payment form such as PayPal. For instance, for a total price of a product I would like to be able to add the sales tax. I do not actually take payments on my website, but provide estimates of products with sales tax and shipping included. Is there a way to accomplish this with Gravity Forms?

    Clear to the point where you stopped. But how do you get the PayPal option into the form? I'm missing something obvious, probably, but I'm new at this. (Love your videos--I've studied all the ones on Gravity Forms and you really have helped me.)

    Is there a way to set up two payment options on a single form with one being full payment and the other being a payment plan that automatically recurs monthly i.e. a subscription in PayPal? I offer both options for my event but cannot figure out how to set this up on the form. Any guidance you can provide is greatly appreciated!

    Kora, thank you for your great tutorials. I am a new webmaster for our non-profit’s website and we plan to add a paypal button for payment of annual membership dues. Am thinking a gravity form would handle the data we need to collect for new and renewing members. I looked at the gravity website and it appears logic is there for calculations, so a user can input criteria to determine what their total membership dues will be (such as an additional cost to receive a paper newsletter) question...do you know which level of gravity license I would need to have the calculations capability and the paypal add-on? Wasn’t clear to me from their website. Thanks very much! - Robyn, Stillwater, MN

    I have an event that requires 3 payment options: Pay Now, Pay at Event, Active Duty Military.
    For Pay Now, I would need to process a PayPal transaction for the fee
    For Pay at Event or Active Duty Military, I do not need to go to PayPal, just simply Submit the form data to my registration table (database).
    Any suggestions on how to handle this scenario with the pricing fields?
    Thanks,

    Hey Kori, thanks for your video, very short and on point.
    Do you know if it would be possible to create a prepaid upload of a file with gravity forms?
    Customers should first pay, then upload a file. Afterwards I would modify the file and send it back to that specific customer or make it available in a secured are of the Wordpress site.
    Would appreciate any idea

    Hi Kori,
    Thanks so much for all your awesome videos.
    One thing I thought could be straightforward, but not finding it anywhere.
    Can Gravity Forms be setup, so that when someone fills out a form, it will have some way to ensure the sender is authentic, such as confirming themselves via an email?
    Thanks a lot

    • @KoriAshton
      @KoriAshton  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey David - normally something like this is done with a 3rd party provider like Mailchimp or Constant Contact. Those solutions can receive the info from Gravity Forms and then trigger a confirmation email from their system so that the person opts in.

    • @KoriAshton
      @KoriAshton  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not familiar with a way to offer refunds. I'm not too sure you would want a system like that to automatically issue a refund. We typically run those through accounting so that there is no error on that process.

      Their forms look horrible and they are NOT easy to modify. Sure you can get rid of the shadow and the outside lines etc, but anything more than that is a pain. You have to manually modify css and most people don't know how to do that. Got any ideas?

    Thanks so much for your great videos. They've been a huge help. I activated the PayPal add-on and received this email warning from WordPress when enabling my IPN: "WARNING: Your web server does not currently support the SHA-2 SSL Certificate standard required by PayPal." Host is GoDaddy. Do you happen to know what that means? I was assuming I did not have to have an SSL and that the payment process actually takes place on PayPal. Do I need to have an SSL to use the add-on? Just hoping this is a quick and easy one for you. If not, I'll contact others. Thanks!
