I used to drive a black 1997 Honda accord lx before I sold it and got a 2013 Ford Fusion. It had the same interior and everything. Watching this video and hearing that engine and horn really makes me miss it :(
Nice clean stock 97 Accord. I like the look of the 96/97 over the 94/95. I currently own a 3rd 96, the first 2 was totaled (including the video I have up was the 2d Accord) all three of mine were EX manual models. Great car fun to drive. Very comfortable too.
I have the LXI 1997 2.2 Honda Accord manual it's a very reliable and cheap to run and still got enough to get up too speed quick after 4500 rpm it jus takes off.
So clean... and I'll never get that Honda engine startup out of my head. The audio situation is the same as mine, haha. If only it came with a cassette deck at least... I feel your pain.
I have the same one with the same colour, but 5th gear manual, european version with all stuff possible for this car, including leather all around... :D Its an amazing car

That's the same car I have. I like it a lot, except the stereo system, mine is the stock system, and it only plays cassette tapes. No AUX or CD, but I plan to buy a cassette tape adapter
Nice car dude, Im about to get a 1997 Honda accord its an SE model for $1740 with a power sunroof this Monday (Tomorrow) im so excited cant wait, I didn't know accords had sunroof lol, I drove my uncles 97 accord and I loved it, Till it died about a few months in, It was in bad shape and I told him not to get it but oh well, Only thing that bugs me is that it has 251250+ miles on it but it only had one owner and was in Pennsylvania and now the car sits in NJ till I get it!!!
A few months ago I had the opportunity to buy one just like it from my boss at the car wash where I worked, he only wanted $1,200, he told me that if I liked it he would give it to me on credit, I lost that opportunity and regret it, that honda was elegant with a touch rude.
It's nice! Personally I love my CB7 (90-93) in manual. I'm getting an auto 97 with 140k for $500 so can't complain :p only needs new front end. Maybe do a manual swap when the engine reaches its end who knows.
Bro did your Temp Gauge ever go up to Half. Mine sits exactly like yours in the video but never goes up higher! I thought the ECT was bad or my Thermostat stuck open. And my Fans only turn on after a long drive after I shut it off???
The car crapped out after a while. I managed to sell it for about $200 less than I paid for it because my mechanic got it running, but it had some electrical gremlin that he couldn't figure out. Pretty sure the thing is in a junkyard now.
@@isaacmoreno-doing678 Honda's do not suck. This one in particular had the odometer rolled back by the previous owner, unbeknownst to me, and it had been in several accidents. My current car is an 07 Civic Coupe that I've had since 2015, and it has almost 200k miles on it with no real problems. There are certain Honda models that you have to be careful of, but for the most part, they are very reliable mechanically. The 97 in this video is the only Honda I've ever had that has broken down, and like I said, it was very old with issues and made to look pretty in order to sell it.
@@isaacmoreno-doing678 No problem. Honestly, they do sometimes suffer from interior quality issues, such as the power window motor failing, etc. I would much rather deal with that and have a car that goes 200k+ miles than buy a domestic car that has a failing transmission after 100k.
Did you get the SRS taken care of? Try to reset it, many videos on how to do that on youtube, the yellow connector that you need is under the steering column

My 1997 Honda Accord LX looks exactly like that. Accept mine has a factory spoiler on it. Great car. Has 224k on the odometer though.

I just did this with my dads car lot lol I’m detailing it off and it was 1300 for it but it was my first stick shift

That's what rebuild means, it was in an accident but they made it look like new cause a body shop fixed it with the insurance money
