  • When will I ever get my new Powerchair? Probably never... if my insurance has anything to do with it !!!
Dealing with my Health Insurance company is giving me a major headache. I'm trying get my new power chair and have been denied 3 times and they keep saying that my wheelchair supplier is at fault.
I'm very frustrated and am about ready to change insurance companies...
    What should I do?

The problem is in the state of Idaho. If you have both Medicaid and Medicare they considered duel coverage. You must be on disability and make too much money for Medicaid. So you Musta got an ABA waiver for Medicaid which qualifies you for Medicaid. About 2 1/2 years ago the state of Idaho decided to turn deal coverage over to private management. Either to Molina or Blue Cross. You do not have a choice to go to anybody else except those two. So you are stuck with Blue Cross or Molina. And believe me both are horrible because their job is to deny everything. We have three different companies that we deal with now and it’s supposed to saying the state of Idaho money. The way they say money is the denying everything and see if you mess up so they can say well too bad. You’ll get things but it will take a long time.
