Vanilla minecraft needs unlimited build height up and down. Just imagine the insane stuff you could build with that. Or making massive sky bases/deep underground bases in anarchy. Mojang if you see this I know you are smart enough to add that and make it run well.

Could you try randomizing the seed for the noise generator for every chunk so every chunk would generate a completely different terrain

@@urimc No. Very old versions used to have these generation errors called “monoliths.” They could generate anywhere and looked like if a small piece of land had been raised 20 blocks or so, including the stone. They weren’t normally super big, but some could get pretty large.

You should make a video similar to this, but showing what you did in the files. (For people who don't know how to do it lol) I personally do know some of this but not all. Also the Max Height Limit is 4064 so you could make it that high lmfao
4Gb of ram simply is not enough.
I wonder what this would perform like on my $3500 custom built pc that i built my self. Allocating 20GB of ram and then 64 chunk render distance with this. I will probably do it my self though as it will probably be easy to do for me.
My pc has 16gb lol. might need to invest in more rams
@@ElementX Indeed. The 4GB allocated is the reason why you was getting freezes as you did not allocate enough ram. MC's ram garbage collection task will start to have a stoke at a certain point. Generating that many chunks is going to instantly fill the 4GB you allocated to the game. Slowly the freezing will get worse and worse till it is unplayable. The CPU usage shoots up to 100% when it freezes like that. When it unfreezes the usage goes back down to a more normal usage. So allocating something like 20-25GB would eliminate this issue.
You should only allocate that much ram to mc java if your only doing something like this. Keep in mind java mc will allocate the ram you gave it, slowly until it fills up that ram limit that you've set. Then starts running garbage collection every once in a while when it needs to do so. Some optimization mods can triple your chunk gen performance.
However, You will need very fast native not limited m.2 gen4 at minimum or gen5, when you can buy it at those speeds to not have the game slow down much when windows starts using the drive for ram. If you did not have enough left over, windows will start using virtual memory. Make sure to allocate half of your pc memory to virtual memory if you have the space on your c-drive to spare towards virtual memory. Never allocate too much as it would cause issues with windows.

320 is a terrible hight limit. The tallest mountains isn’t even 1 kilometer high! Minecraft should have no hight limit. The extremely tall 1 kilometer tall mountain is still very small for a actual mountain
