I. Equipment And Preparation
1. Gasoline Barrel Modification
- The gasoline barrel serves as a gas source providing device. Gasoline volatilizes in the barrel to produce combustible gas, and two plastic pipes are connected to the gasoline barrel. One of them may be the pipeline that leads the combustible gas to the welding torch, and the other may be the pipeline for balancing air pressure or assisting in regulating gas flow !
2. Foot - Stepping Mechanism
- The foot - stepping operation should be related to controlling the gas flow rate. When the foot is stepped on, the pressure in the barrel is changed, thus regulating the flow rate of the combustible gas led from the gasoline barrel to the welding torch. The squeaking sound when stepping on may be the sound generated by the friction of pipeline components during gas flow or the gas passing through some flow - limiting devices !
3. Welding Torch Structure
- The welding torch is a key tool for welding operations. It receives the combustible gas led from the gasoline barrel, and there is an air inlet at the head of the welding torch, allowing the combustible gas to mix with air to form a combustible gas mixture !
II. Welding Operation Process
1. Preliminary Treatment
- For plastic buckets and basins, first clean the parts to be welded or mended, remove oil stains, dust and other impurities, and trim the edges neatly so that the welding surfaces can fit well !
2. Welding Operation
- Ignite the welding torch and control the flame size by stepping on to regulate the gas flow rate. For the welding of plastic materials, after aligning the welding parts of the plastic bucket or basin, use the flame of the welding torch to heat the welding part and the filled plastic strip (if any).
- The flame melts the plastic materials. In the molten state, the plastic materials on both sides are fused together. If a plastic strip is used, the plastic strip will also melt under the flame and fill in the gap. At the same time, keep moving the welding torch flame along the welding seam continuously to ensure uniform welding, and maintain a certain welding speed and flame temperature during the welding process to ensure the welding quality !
This traditional welding process has great safety hazards, such as the unstable pressure of combustible gas in the gasoline barrel may lead to dangerous situations such as flashback !
