I only experienced issues with tampered packs in mini tins at walmart. Do these lunchboxes have perforations anywhere on the plastic? If so look to see if there's supposed to be a line of perforations, but if the plastic is somehow sealed over them so it won't tear it's probably resealed.
I guess I never thought to look for that. I didn’t think it looked any different than any other lunch box I’ve bought in the past? Have you ever found boxes that were tampered with? What did you do? Do you tell someone? 😂
I just opened one of these the other day and it felt sketchy to me. Haven’t opened the packs yet, but it was weird to me that the promo card packaging was in there backwards (looks like the same on yours)
Yeah I learned after the fact that apparently those boxes were GameStop exclusive, so if you find one at Target it’s probably resealed. Also Target won’t help you get your money back even though it’s 100% their fault..
Yeah idk if I feel totally safe buying from Target again. At least until the holidays are over. Maybe I’ll get some check lane boosters but nothing bigger than that
had this issue happen with walmart mini tins (1 pack was repacked with cards from scarlet violet despite being a swsh set and the other pack was full of energies). Stupid ladies at walmart all refused to help me despite my account showing hundreds of dollars worth of purchases of pokemon tcg and never an issue except for these $10 tins. Had to send an email up to mj holdings to get them to mail me replacement tins (they sent more than I asked for), but walmart was absolutely the worst in store customer service I ever experienced.
Same thing here I bought two tins and one didn’t even have the Oshawalt promo card 🤔 I haven’t opened the packs yet but the backs of mine looked weird compared to the fusion strike

I bought two of eight lunch tins at my Target two weeks ago. One guy there bought the rest. i kept one sealed and opened one. I got no hit as well from the two ES packs.
Oh man if it ended up being MJ Holding…that tea would be so, so sweet. Or imagine if there was some insider employee scandal? Whatever the answer is it’s pretty rampant, so something’s gotta be done
I know. And it’s not like this box being resealed is just a one-off thing. It’s pretty rampant. The reviews alone have a ton of people who say it was resealed. I wonder if people’s obsession with evo skies is blinding them?
Honestly I’m not sure. I’d be shocked to see ES outside of card shows or local Facebook groups. I know every once in a while Walmart will have some weird premier boxes that have ES but I don’t think there’s any consistency with that. Have you gotten anything resealed recently or have you only seen resealed?

Well that’s good. If you plan on selling them you better hope they aren’t resealed otherwise your reputation is cooked 😂 you’re in a tough spot though because it’s not like ES is just everywhere to be able to get more if they are resealed
Buying packs from the official pokemon center is honestly the best idea I believe - I also got 4 tins of the $15 Walmart deal recently and got absolute garbage along with an upside down card and a card already dented / tiny coal dust or whatever it’s so dumb
I just opened a chilling reign pack from a target tin and it had 2 code cards and cards were clearly not pack fresh. Tired of this hobby and the shadiness around it
You mind sharing what tin? Definitely don’t wanna buy it haha this hobby definitely has sketchy parts. Mystery boxes, loose packs, resealed packs, etc.
@@Therealpaulkemon it was the Eevee heroes tin at target. In the past they've had evo skies but the one I got yesterday was cr, 2bs, and a fusion. I got the Sylveon one

See now this is suspicious. Target is going to have a $20 Black Friday sale that I was planning to buy. But now I’m thinking about it.
