Sorry…I rarely say anything negative but I wasn’t a fan of the background music during the history discussion about the mandolin. It made it hard for me to concentrate on what y’all were talking about.
@@howardmoore5931 Well Howard, I went back and watched the video again. I enjoyed the story about the mandolin just not the background music. The background music from the discussion was jazz guitar. If it had been the mandolin that was the subject of this video then perhaps it would have been ok. I did however love the mandolin music at the end. In general, I love all the videos that these folks do. They are amazingly talented! I only wish I lived in the area so I could visit their shop every week.
I own a 1927 F-4 and it's a cannon! Thanks for the video.
Thanks guys. Never better!😎😁
What a cool F-4! Great playing too - Dorsey would be proud.
I love that Dave Harvey just drops by once in a while. Very cool. Fun to listen in on the chat.

Wonderful video! Interesting history!
Thanks for watching!🙂
Amazing!
Thanks for watching! 😎
It sounds a lot tighter and treble driven that ovals typically sound
I noticed the same thing. It's more focused than ovals tend to be.
I am sure there is a story of how Dave Harvey came to know you all? How did it happen?
There is... you can check it out here: th-cam.com/video/2zLRQsS8LRg/w-d-xo.html
I wanted to hear it by itself
👍

I agree. Good discussion needs no music … distracting
I didn’t even notice it.😂
I enjoyed the discussion and the music from a unique mandolin. Some people just don’t get it

For my part, I liked it - a nice full electric archtop top tone, with clear melodic lines. It doesn't go with the mandolin though!
