Hey guys. I made this track a couple weeks ago with Raptor and I think it turned out really fun. People were hypothesizing that Raptor was the layout guy and I did all the visuals, but I think we split work fairly well between both of us, doing each part, and a lot of it was crafting together, anyways. He was a really fun partner to work with.
This track feels very technical to get down, and I didn't by any means drive perfectly for this. I just wanted to record a really quick run, so I could upload this to the wiki - took me about 2 hours to get this one quickly. I'm not sure if the ending doing it the way I'm doing it is much faster, you probably need to do it more tightly.
There's a few things I might want to change if Raptor is down to - there's a little bit of offroad at the ending you can precisely hop and mt and get through if you're really really good, although it has to be done really well. Someone will fib it online and that would be comedic, but it might not want to exist. It seems really hard though so. The other thing is the ramp jump into the cut can be kind of iffy - in practice I think you want to go somewhere more right than you expect to make sure you get height, but doing it in TT can be mildly infuriating, because you have to just full send it. Other than that, I think we executed the layout about as good as it could be. There could be an argument about whether the shroomless is too centralizing, since people will likely chain shock into box at the set on the right there, seeing that the shroomless leads straight into that main cut as well, but I think it's alright. Would have to see how that plays online to know.
Otherewise, if there's any updates in the future, I think it'll just be polishing tiny things that bug me and maybe adding some more visual effects, but I like how this little sketch came out. Simple but effective tracks are some of my favorites too. :)
