All the professionals greeting and cheering you on says so much about how you and Patrick have just made yourself a good part of the cycling world. Keep up the good work!
From a guy playing Cycling Manager and just talking about cycling or tweeting about it, to a guy recognized and befriended by legends of the sport. Super happy for you and nice video.
Benji, it's lovely to see all the pros acknowledge and respect you. This is due to your honest and accurate cycling knowledge, and your channel is brilliant.
So cool of Ayuso to ride with you for a bit! It's actually insane how fast pros are, the only experience I have was trying to stay with Dylan van Baarle on Zwift which I managed for about 10 seconds 😅 When it comes to paracycling, the track world championships in 2023 combined the order of events with paracycling not segregated off to a seperate day, so it was probably watched by a lot more people than usual (including myself). There are some incredible riders, one guy had no hand and he kind of bolted his arm on to the aero extensions. The pairs races are interesting too, like a tandem with one visually impaired rider on the back and a pilot rider at the front doing the steering.
Definitely Glasgow helped with para cycling viewers. Thinks it’s hard gets quite confusing with all the categories even for me 😂 Probably the best first worlds one could have.
Fun video Benji - the scenery is fantastic! Thanks for sharing your ride. Keep pedaling....before you know it your riding skills will be as superb as your language skills!!
I am getting lazy getting on the bike lately and startes gaining a lot of weight. This video just inspired me to get back to the grind! Hoping to see more of this. Good luck on training Benji!
@@BenjiNaesenTV We stayed in Calp about a week or two after you were there. All the way down by the water. Absolutely beautiful, but every day it was a swift kick in the butt to start the ride 😆
@@MiamiCycling305 La Fustera almost every day, was there couple of weeks ago. I started to really love that climb, except the red light before the top. That sucked :D
What a great video. It's really cool to see your cycling journey. One thing I'd like to see (not in a video like this but a different style perhaps) is how much it would cost to do a cycling camp for a week or two like this one. Ps Ayuso seemed fun.
Does he know you? He seems super friendly. Slowing down to chat with you a bit. Is that a normal thing for pros to do when they meet someone else on a training ride?
I had spoken to him a few times online, but hadn't met him in-person yet. It's actually quite regular depending on whether the pro listens to LRCP or not.
I noticed that you only brake with one brake, you should try using both! It might give you more confidence on the descents, since the front brake actually does most of the job. Keep up the good work!
Yeah, well noticed. I've been trying to move to 2 brakes over the last few months, and now I use the 80% back break, 20% front break, which is already better than 100% back break.
Maybe you could try some mountain biking (in Belgium) to improve your bike handling skills? Most trails here are very doable for beginners and there's nothing better to learn you how to brake. You also don't have to live with the fear of going head first into a car if you miss your bend. 😂
Same time next year? 😅
If I'm in the area, I'm in. :)
Love the recognition you and Patrick are getting in the pro's world. You guys are doing it the right way!
All the professionals greeting and cheering you on says so much about how you and Patrick have just made yourself a good part of the cycling world. Keep up the good work!
Juan ayuso seems like a nice dude
"That's the guy off twitter" really got me 😂😂
It's really nice to see the respect the Pro's have for you. Well earned!
From a guy playing Cycling Manager and just talking about cycling or tweeting about it, to a guy recognized and befriended by legends of the sport. Super happy for you and nice video.
Benji the goat thanks for the chat
Absolute flex by Benji that the pros want to sit and ride with you for a few minutes :) ❤
5:08 "Hi Benji!" "I'm dying!" :D
That was amazing.
Benji, it's lovely to see all the pros acknowledge and respect you. This is due to your honest and accurate cycling knowledge, and your channel is brilliant.
I like how the thumbnail had labels for who is who. Don't wanna confuse Juan Ayuso for a Belgian legend I guess.
excellent video. you're becoming quite famous!
Mate you absolutely perished trying to follow Ayuso's wheel
As it should be
From racing in D category in Zwift to train with Juan Ayuso, what an achievement ! Congrats Benji (PROFICIAT)
“Fuck.” The mis-clip had me dying. That’s me on the regular. Awesome video, Benji!
Cycling in Spain/Andorra looks a lot more appealing than the UK Benji!
Courage of a lion going deep on the climb there Benji. Well done man and keep on trucking.

your recovery was hindered sleeping at 2000m,
so no wonder you couldn´t follow ;-)
Funny enough, I broke my 10 minute PR in their wheel lmao
0:35 these are calories that can burn you . . . not calories you burn!
Fun video Benji - the scenery is fantastic! Thanks for sharing your ride. Keep pedaling....before you know it your riding skills will be as superb as your language skills!!
Man now I’m inspired to ride but today I’m resting after a monster ride this week!
Great... so you had a lot of time to... learn Juan some team tactics 😅
4:10 Tomorrow 30.8 Archie ATKINSON finally has his first race at the Paris Paralympics in the Velodrome! Fingers crossed!
Amazing video, Benji! It's great to see how much respect you get from the pros - it's definitely well earned and deserved.
"Anything for content"... 🤣 Love it Benji, another fantastic vid mate. Congrats on your climb PB.
i have so much respect for benji hes climbing a hill with 110 kg i once was the same weight and would never do the things he does respect brother
Go Benji, living the dream.
Great funny vid, but work on knees alignement b4 they screem !
So cool how the pros respect you, and deserved for sure, but wow. That must feel amazing
Benji, if some time you would like a guided tour of the Surrey Hills I would be happy to ride with you
Title was complete click bait :/
Ayuso appears 10 secs lol
Nothing more efficient than Z2 indoors.. nothing that I hate more than Z2 indoors..
good content. Please wear longer socks Mate.

Cool video Benji, enjoyed watching it! I'm really curious how so many pros recognize you from behind while simply wearing a standard black kit?
I don't know actually. My theory is the camera's on the bike.
What you mean? Ayuso is faster then you?
Your bike is more than good enough, don´t worry
Takes a real man to admit girls can beat him!
Looking good, Benji…
awesome video!
Nice one Benji, beautiful winter sun.
It’s tough to go anywhere on the bike in that area haha. Have to climb to get to every climb.
Fortunately I feel like most climbs aren’t horribly steep there, which is a benefit.

Awesome content Benji! Particularly liked the reality check following Ceratizit!
Benji, exposed cables aren’t aero !! No wonder you couldn’t keep up mate😂😂
Hey Benji !! You doing great @ training. Keep posting this cool vids.
Thanks for sharing your amazing and humbling experience. Nice to see the respect from the pros. Clearly they follow LR.
Everyone loevs the LR guys. Well in Benji, more of these please!
Been 20 years since ive ridden up rates.
Used to go on training camps when i was younger there.
Loved that place
You're brave heading out with the girls - would scare the bejeebers out of me!

BENJI! Love to see how far you've gotten! Keep up the great work😃
I think we all felt the "fuck" after the missed clip-in 😂❤️
Still please send Benji some taller socks 😂. Love the video and how cool the pros are with you
Man heard you say your bike ain't great, looked at it, and said ya, you will get there. Savage.
Really cool to see how nice and welcoming the pro cycling community is to you:)
This is a great video Benji. Be proud of you efforts as they are well appreciated. 👏👏
Thanks for a look inside the famous altitude hotel. Is Tenerife next?
Great video Benji. You really seem to be living your best life. Keep enjoying it.
wow it seems all the pro cyclists know this guy. so popular
That was super cool, love it, great work Benji 👏👏👏
Lovely seeing how friendly everyone was out on the roads. Great content👍
Man, what a champ. This is what cycling is all about!

Best channel to get me motivated!
Awesome from Ayuso to say hi to you!
I hope he will recover quickly.

Great one Benji! Enjoy the riding!

Benji have you ever worked? - I mean before doing YT
Before I went full-time in cycling, I worked as a Full-Stack Javascript Developer. :)
Cheers Benji.
Surely one of these teams can sort you our with a bike that has a higher gear range..
I've put bigger gears on my own bike now.
