I will say in my opinion, I think Obanai, Muichiro, and Giyu, are interchangeable so nobody could be wrong of who takes the 3rd, 4th, and 5th spots of the Hashira rankings.

The water hasira is the strongest because he held his own against demon king Tanjuro and protected tundra when he was far away from him, and he almost took down akaza
@@Apex55434 broo other say around. Water breathing focus on defence rather than offence and I get the best defence is the best offence. It is one of the original breathings and is really powerfull. However tanjiro and giyuu were not even close to defeat akaza and dkt was extremely weak and exposed as a demon. Don't twist the story man

There's no official Hashira Ranking. Only one canon ranking is "Gyomei is the strongest Hashira" mentioned several times in the manga.

@@maheeppanwar4756rengoku is not that strong in the fight against akaza he never had a chance akaza was just prolonging the fight to try to make rengoku convert to oni but when he realized that it would not work he ended up with the pillar of flames easily while mitsuri faced hantengu for more than she didn't defeat him he argued for a long time besides she was one of the few who still managed to stand at the end of the battle with muzan helping tanjiro to defeat his own torn off his arm.And forgive my english i am brazilian

9. Shinobu: no mark, no trasparent world no Red Blade, clapped by douma her poison couldn't do anything till she died (ya know, because the poison was insider of her)
8. Uzui: Lots of potential, fastest in terms of travel speed but still doesn't have the ds mark, red blade or transparent world
7. Rengoku: I put rengoku under mitsuri due to the fact that he haven't unlocked any of the "special abilities" I listed above. He still managed to survive a bit alone against upper moon 3 Akaza. Without him tanjiro would been killed by akaza
6. Mitsuri: same has rengoku, if tanjiro didn't behaded upper 4 she would probably die because of zohakuten. She has the mark
5. Obanai: Placed under muichiro because during the infinity Castle arc he hadn't fought anyone before muzan, and anyway he died... HOWEVER! He played a very important role duringthe fight against muzan, he was the first of the hashiras to recover from his injuries and to awaken from the mini-coma
4. Muichiro: ds mark, trasparent world and Red Blade. He killed upper 5 alone while roasting him and he played a very important role for defeating kokushibo. Also he Is One of the First hashira to turn his Blade into Red
3. Tomioka: ds mark, Red Blade, trasparent world. He has a very high level of defense. Without him tanjiro would been killed by akaza, he survived muzan and akaza. Also invented the 11th kata of water breathing "dead calm"

@@MDCA_seeing the upper 4 fight in live action had kinda changed me on that. Mitsuris speed didn’t increase to a crazy amount like I thought I would. I still feel like the non serious akaza was a much larger threat. Mind you, Hatengu’s whole gimmick is about finding his main body rather than his strength. That would be the struggle for hashiras (for the most part). But non hashiras and pedestrians would see him as crazy strong.

The fastest hashira in running speed and second highest in most strength and fought head-to-head with Gyutaro (Former Upper 6) while he was poisoned, injured and lost an arm if he had awakened his mark he would've solo'd Gyutaro alone
7. Muichiro Tokito
He is the one with the most potential and also really fast in combat speed but against Gyokko (Upper 5) he awakened his DSM (Demon Slayer Mark) which gave him a large boost in nearly everything
6. Mitsuri Kanroji
The slowest Hashira in running speed but gifted with a lot of strength she has a lot of flexibility and range which gave her an advantage to exploit against Hantengu (Former Upper 4) she also awakened her DSM in the process
5. Kyojuro Rengoku
Fought head-to-head with Akaza (Upper 3) but sadly died due to getting a hole through his chest but even so he almost beheaded Akaza because of close range if he would've awakened his DSM right there Akaza would've been cooked but anyways Rengoku is also among the fastest hashira and undoubtedly strong and he has the most willpower of them all
4. Iguro Obanai
Iguro is no pushover since he fought Nakime (Upper 4) with Mitsuri Kanroji he also awakened his DSM against Muzan (Demon King) And did a lot of damage which shows his skill and Swordsmanship are on another level
3. Giyuu Tomioka
He is considered 3rd strongest because he is 4th in strength and pretty fast against Akaza (Upper 3) he awakened his DSM even though it was mostly Tanjiro vs Akaza doesn't mean we should think less of Giyuu because he created his own form and he fought nearly as an equal to Sanemi who is insanely strong
2. Sanemi Shinazugawa
Sanemi is the second strongest hashira because he is 3rd in strength and 2nd in running speed and is also very great when it comes to endurance the fact that he had to get stitched against Kokushibo (Upper 1) or else he would've died he fought against both Muzan (Demon Lord) and Kokushibo and the reason why he is stronger than Giyuu is because Giyuu fought against Akaza and Muzan but Sanemi fought against Kokushibo and Muzan and still survived after all that he also Awakened his DSM
1. Gyomei Himejima
He is the strongest Hashira because he has the most strength and is the most durable hashira just like Sanemi he fought against Kokushibo and Muzan but unlike Sanemi, Gyomei was carrying the battle real hard because his teammate were to weak to fight against Kokushibo but even Kokushibo Acknowledged Gyomei's strength and skill

1. He’s the fastest hashira.
2. He carried the fight against gyutaro with one arm and one eye.
3. Like Muzan said gyutaro might’ve been upper moon if daki didn’t slow him down and hold him down.
4. Muichiro needed the demon slayer mark to kill gyoko but gyutaro is stronger than gyoko, just that daki didn’t let his brother out to fight him.
