Thanks for posting this. I walked in registered at the last minute and didn't film or take pics. Was hard explaining how it was to my kids. Now I can show them your video. AROO!
I did a Spartan Beast two years ago. That's a half marathon with 34 obstacles. While I did NOT sign up in the competitive wave, they still expect you to do penalties. I was 60 years old and my teammates were 20 and 35 years YOUNGER than me. In Tough Mudder, you race as a team... Spartan, everyone runs as a competitor! Less than a month before I had no problem doing a 10 mile Tough Mudder. This one broke my spirit and ripped the calluses off my palms 😮. I gave up with less than two miles to go because I was close to heat exhaustion 🥵 I loved the course and the obstacles, not the 92°F heat and the burpees.
@@Dargoyaki My wife asked me last year not to do another Tough Mudder this year, but it's the one thing that keeps me striving to stay fit. It is easy to come home after 10 hours of work and just want to relax after dinner and do NOTHING but watch TV. I don't want to do that when I am healthy enough to do more. 🏃🏽🏊🏽🩲💪🏽🏋🏽 (I did already sign up for the shorter one for next year as I want to get a bigger team of guys to run it!)
Hey dargo! , great video as always :) I just began watching your channel, can I ask if you are still in the computing industry . Would be great if you could make a video again to show how life has moved forward 2 years after Graduation

I wish I’d still be able to do a beast when I reach that age, tough mudder at 60 is ridiculous!
