Another classic, funny thing is that while this is very well sung, MG did get a lot of ridiculing from malayalees those days because there was no sense in giving award to this ahead of 'Pramadavanam' by Dasettan in the same movie...while appreciating the complexity of the song and rendition, a lot of people felt that this was a very standard classical concert sort of song compared to the other (and of course, the Dasettan's voice sounded divine)...

One more suggestion the great music director mg Radhakrishnan should be in your wall.. because in most of his movies he composed only after the lyrics completed.... so he composed by giving feel to each words in the lyrics.. sooryakireedam in the movie devasuram was an example....
