Yes I think the issue is not the hardware power but the emulation software. Time and time again I've seen a new emulator, mainly for ARM chips that either properly uses the other cores or the gpu and the performance gain is remarkable. Even look at the retroid pocket 2. The difference between using one dreamcast emulator to another is night and day in terms of smoothness.
I think that the only handhelds that are worth anything in the sub $100 price range are the Retroid Pocket/Pocket 2. Best performance/price/quality I’ve seen in the cheap Chinese Handheld market. Great video and I look forward to your videos on the Retroid Pocket 2. Cheers!

Loving my RG350M for PS but I’ve never, ever played a Dreamcast or N64 game..I’m desperate for a handheld that can nail em all..I will be one happy AF guy..& you’re my only hope of finding my own personal holy grail of handheld gaming..no pressure..lol 😉👍
I do want to do a lot of PSP testing when my RGB10 arrives. I will start from the lowest possible setting for each game and work out a passable compromise.

Can you include from now on Outrun 2006 coast to coast (psp) into your future tests? thanks. It's one of the hardest to emulate and one of the best PSP games aswell.
Mine runs PSP games really well but I only have 3 that came with it. Ive tried to put new games on via the USB but no live. I put the chip in my laptop and I can't see the ROMs anywhere.help
need to use a 3rd party app call paragon to see the Linux files buddy TH-cam this and let me know how you get on ETA prime has good videos on how to add roms
I have fully modded VIta (with ps2vita 256gb), is this going to offer more in terms of emulated systems? Or should I just save the money and continue playing my vita. The only downside is DS emulation and N64 on the vita.
Personally I would wait just a little longer as there should be some systems that will be the next leap in performance so ya just wait a little bit longer buddy
I was the one trying to get the Bob image to you. The only problem is I don't know how to, Its too big to send as an attachment in an email and I'm not able to post the image here and I don't have enough space on GDrive unless I pay for extra storage. The only other way you would be for you to send me an sd card and I'll flash for you. Unless you can come up with any other ideas?
Primarily buying for ps1 gaming, think I’ll live without PSP and Dreamcast. Only thing I wonder is approach to putting games on, I don’t have a windows pc 😅 reckon I’m gonna have to get one

God Of War never runs full speed on my Odroid N2 and thats with a quad core 1.9 ghz cpu it does do a majority of Dreamcast games well though. My guess thats the next cpu range for the chinese handhelds.

Maybe it's just mine but my RK2020 runs a HELL of alot better than this. A lot of the slow down people get is from the sound. Most times I play without it so that might be a factor but I am pretty shocked at how poor this new handheld did. Thanks for saving me money Sonic!

This range of handhelds will never run God Of War at a decent speed, its the high end of the PSP bracket. I get better performance for PSP on my JXD S7800B and thats an RK3188. Needs more RAM for a start.
A red Magic 5 G can emulate god of War for psp perfectly. Uf u want yo play that on an 80 bucks device instead of a 600 right now it makes no sense. However the job of this console is to play most of 64 games nice enough. However if my snapdragon 865 in the cell I todl You sometimes overheats while screenrecording that game stop believing that this game will run Smith on it
the handhelds will catch up eventually but ya I do phone emulation and gaming laptop emulation a budget phone 200 pound can do a lot more but people still like a handheld but I get what you mean

I Think they are gr8 only that slowly they Will be able to emulate better consoles on cheaper machines.

ya I agree, that’s the great side of emulation is testing cores and finding what works best...some people don’t like that and want to pick up and play

It’s not the best performance but it’s hit and miss with most games some are playable though just have to test them

Am I right to say that God of War can be played at full speed with buffer rendering off?
Just under full speed but will be testing the games on different os images so let’s hope we get a bit more out of it

it’s why I don’t include it as it’s super hard to emulate on the arm based chips

The image itself is bloody good I love playing Zx Spectrum games and it's totally configured whereas you don't have to map the keys. It just works.
