Vera Jochum is an artist based in Germany whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally. Through her art, she processes what concerns her, as well as her personal feelings, and chaoas. Jochum describes her artistic practice as being marked by a constant process of building and destroying, creating new persectives in each layer until each piece has reached its final state.

In college (S.J.S.U) they taught Abstract Experssionism, it was known for churning out students like a factory. Sure the process is fun, but what they don't teach is how to succeed with said knowledge. The expression becomes more like a creative trope in art galleries.

for me a big problem with abstract modern art in general is the subject matter..its not about anything and pursues vague expressionism with limited creative results...👺
