For casual hunters like me, learning way to fight a monster via speedrun is an option, but not that practical, This casual hunt idea approaching is really good as it show how to deal with a monster in daily life, where you do not just abaddon a quest each time thing goes wrong. Three claw attacks counts as "half" of a tenderization for all weapons, so you could also do 3 claws + the normal tenderization attack with a light weapon to get the part tenderized. It just so happens that the claw uppercut _also_ counts as half of a tenderization since it got the buff a couple updates ago.
You left a lot of parts uncaptioned but I can imagine that is a lot of work. Still good video 👌 watching this makes me wanna play SnS and I'm a charge blade main

Freaktacular Well, it is an annoying move, but I think he was referring to the guard slash that sometimes comes out when you're trying to back hop from guard... that's what happened to him in the video at that time stamp. Back hop from guard is done by pressing R2, then circle, and then back with the analog, but you need to delay the inputs a bit and if, in the heat of the moment, you fail to daly it enough, instead of doing the back hop, your hunter will turn back and do the lousy slash with annoying recovery frames that you can't cancel out of, which can get you hit (and often does, since a lot of the time you would back hop to i-frame through something). Moreover, that guard slash is absolutely worthless even on its own: it has bad motion value, poor range, doesn't combo with any of the other SnS moves, and it locks you into place for longer than you'd think; even if it didn't interfere with doing the back hop from guard, SnS wouldn't lose anything if they just removed it from its moveset. But since it does, SnS would be better off without it.
@@brodericksiz625 yup you basically said it all, it happens to me every so often, not because i do it bad but majorly because on ps4 my game runs at 30 fps or even less in the heat of moment (or a big monster attack) and i just fail to do it, and get punished hard instead, makes me rage lol Really wish they delete this move. Utility 0, annoyance 100.
Hey Zen, i noticed that sometimes you clutch claw to the monster and then drop down even though it seems that it would be faster to walk up to it and hit it, so why do you do this? Is it actually faster this way?
I think the main dmg source comes from Perfect Rush combo and the combo itself doesn't have much Elemental multiplier so it's better to just invest into raw dmg. SnS is still a raw weapon and maybe Zen just doesn't want to use blast against Teostra
Also, in the description, he mentions that ice triggers the fire mode of teostra which is way easier then the blast mode. I didn't even know that till this video.

Great video. Didnt know that upper claw with 3 claw will tenderize it.
Three claw attacks counts as "half" of a tenderization for all weapons, so you could also do 3 claws + the normal tenderization attack with a light weapon to get the part tenderized. It just so happens that the claw uppercut _also_ counts as half of a tenderization since it got the buff a couple updates ago.

恐らくですが、氷の方が頭5落ちますが粉テオを防ぐことができる為かと思われます。

the clutch at 2:18 was to keep the head tenderized, but I'm not sure about normal clutches, which I see a lot of other speedrunners do as well

覚醒能力は攻撃のみではなく切れ味を2つ入れた方がいいのでしょうか？
武器の攻撃力（倍数ではないの攻撃力スキル、食事、消耗品込み）が高ければ高いほど、切れ味Ｖを二つ入れた方がいいと思います。その原因は、全部攻撃の切れ味は白40（補正1.32）、切れ味Ｖを２ついれなら紫20（補正1.39）になる、そして物理ダメージ＝攻撃力*会心補正*切れ味補正ということです。下手クソ日本語ですみませんでした。
物理だけなら、基礎攻撃力が370を超えると紫のほうが火力がでる。属性を含めると基礎攻撃力360~紫のほうが火力が出る
大体お二方が仰っている通りで、スキルやアイテムで攻撃力をある程度高めると紫ゲージを出した方が若干強くなります
ただ紫運用は切れ味が短いという欠点もありますし、どちらにせよ攻撃全振り白運用と紫運用の差はそこまで大きくないので、お好きな方で良いと思います

この調整が出来ず、ダウンコンボで盾降下が当たらない＆次のJRの位置が安定せず困っております😦
時間あるとき教えていただければ…

駆け上がり切りが出る時に、左右のどちらかにLスティックを入れておくと、ジャンプする方向を少しだけ左右に変えることができます！

I noticed you are not using any ice attack skill. Is it not worth it to use those element attack skills outside crit element builds?

Perfect rush does not relies too much on elemental damage
Wish I knew that before I farmed Safi for every elemental SnS and upgraded elemental attack on all of them!
