Actually this video doesn't show even 10% struggle or hate they got. (It would have to be hours long) Imagine living in one small ass room full of bunk beds for years. Sharing one room, one bathroom with other 7 people. No privacy. Imagine your days going by by attending school, or working part job and the going to singing, dance, acting training for hours and hours. And when video said they danced until, they collapsed it is not an exaggeration. In early years they practiced dance up to 14 hours/day. Jimin once told how he didn't even bothered to go to dorm sometimes, he slept on floor in dance studio just so he could wake up and dance again. Then u debut as group. And u think it should get better. But no. BTS came for very small entertainment agency that was nearly broke, had no real influence for tv or radio stations to get them known to public. No one believed they will survive even 2 comebacks. Even now when i remember all the ridicule they got in articles comment sections after their debut makes my blood boil. When they were able to participate in variety shows, they got humiliated and made fun of. Netizens where ruthless, no mercy was found. Everything was under attack, their name, their faces, their music. And success they imagined and worked for didn't come, only more struggle and new debts. Imagine working your ass of till u can't move for years for hope to debut as part of group. Hoping things gonna get a little better and get welcome like that. How they managed not to crumble to dust after that is a miracle. What is worse nothing much changed, they still lived in that same room with no space to breath, but now they had more things to do, trying to promote and sell your music so you get even less time to sleep. You can see in their behind scenes videos in early years always passing out sleeping in chairs, floor, couches behind stages. They where that overworked and exhausted all the time. And i'm not even talking about how some where in conflict with parents, because they decided to do music as carrier, how they suffered for depression, anxiety, how they where so young and all alone in Seoul and have opportunities to see their family few time/year. And theres still so much more. We love BTS for their honesty, authenticity, sincerity. Not their faces. We love to hear those personal stories in their music, we can relate to their struggles, same struggle we have. The fact that they overcome it all and are not corrupted but decent human beings give hope that u can do it to. I didn't have even half of struggles they had, so why the hell i should not be able do the same? Their example inspires to work harder, be tougher. That is why so many people work to make them succeed. Because they deserve to be an success story and because it give us hope for our future too. S.korea is in huge shock right now because group from small and unknown company got big in the world especially US. Fyi, just recently when they top billboard chart 200 that korean media rushing to cover about them. Before this, its been rumored that BTS got korean media blackout on them because of Big3( SM, Jyp, YG). Koreans are really curious about them on how they can be big when BTS not even active on shows on tv. BTS used social media to counter discrimination by korean media toward them. They built fanbase purely from their amazing music and relationship toward their fans. Some koreans even dont even know back then that amazing songs they heard actually BTS songs because koreans themselves are having own prejudice toward idol music. I am glad that finally right now korea recognize their effort and talents plus achievements. They are everywhere in korea right now. They are nation pride right now. They are known for having brand value as 1bil usd.
YES,it's true. I am korean and I didn't know about BTS very well until they were on AMA last year. I read some article about their performance in AMA and started to look for MVs on youtube .....and you know, I was really shocked that everyting about them was sooooo ~~ great. their MVs, dance practices, live shows, even relationships between themselves, and so on..Finally i became ARMY and so many people are acting like me in korea now. BTS..They are real legend . I appreciate your open mind and hope you will enjoy this gorgeous travelling into BTS world.^^~
Etika Loves Minecraft in korea it's very different than from here, they might be v popular internationally but they weren't in sk until the billboard/ama articles started coming out! Most people only knew old groups like Bigbang and Snsd so it did take them a while
Thanks for recognizing BTS! I only feel sad and disappointed for their previous treatment from korean media especially during last year BBMA when their winning not even trending on top at naver when other idols can easily trending on the top with random things. It such a huge accomplishment and we army tried really hard to promote BTS and getting them to chart well. We feel the deserve all those recognization. I am kpop follower since 2010 so i can easily recognize and detect which group is actually good but i do have prejudice on idol as i am growing up about them being manufactured previously. I even dismissed BTS at first despite i actually really impressed their song i need you because i thought they were just another trending group. Then fast forward 2016, i keep hearing hype about them and also there were a lot youtube reactions about them that make me end up research about them and the rest is history. And yes, BTS is just on another level for most kpop groups. Everything about them are really impressive. They are definitely the right group to represent korea right now. They are nation pride.

There's so much more to learn abt these guys and i can't wait to see more videos from you on them. Even though this video was quite throughout, the more you learn abt Bts the more you learn to appreciate them as well. At least that's what happened to me. After learning all the struggles they had only just few years ago i already respected them so much and still new stuff keeps popping up. For example, before their TH-cam Red series Burn The Stage, none of us fans knew that Yoongi literally got hit by a car and dislocated his shoulder but bc he feared that the company might let him go bc of his injury, he told no one and just pushed through. They really are so inspiring and it's incredible to see how far they've come and there seems to be no end to their success! :)
The free concert at the beginning was here in Los Angeles. They not only had to hand out flyers they had to do it in a language they didn't fully know in a country not their own. But they did it. So proud of them.

To be honest, this video is only showed small amount about what BTS had been trough. From the first they debuting people and other fandom already mocking them because of their group name, their face which not suitable to korean beauty standart, n their song too. They also trough plagiarism issue just because same hair colour, same foto shoot concept, same wardrobe. Then there are Sajaegi issue (it is means bts brought their own album only to make higher rank in the korean chart). Dead threat to bts member. And a lot of more. It is almost ruined bts career, until BigHit (BTS management company) takes a legal action about it n they won. BigHit even asked to south korean government to investigated their own company to clear the Sajaegi issue. N again the proff it that they are clean. You can check it in google. I believe they still recorded there. That was why old ARMY is kind over protective to their boys. They don't want that terrible thing happen again. 😔

Those scenes where they were out on the streets asking the public to attend their concert were part of their 2014 reality show American Hustle Life which took place in LA. As part of their training they had to record songs which they composed themselves, organized a concert and get people to attend. It took them out of their comfort zones but they pulled it off at the end

*A little info on what music shows are, since I don't think that the US has anything similar, or maybe I'm just out of the loop lmao:* A music show is where artists promote their new song(s). There are 6 different show, each on a different day of the week, and they happen every single week. The artists perform between 1 and 3 songs, depending on how in demand they are (if you're from a small company and no one cares about you, it can happen that your song gets edited so that it's shorter and some even get edited out completely), and at the end, the one artist wins. The winner is chosen differently depending on which music show it is, but most include streams, album sales, votes, some have judges and attendance scores too. Basically, the most successful artist of the week wins. Two years till their first win on a small music show probably doesn't seem much to you, since you're used to western artists who usually take much longer to release music than Korean artists, but in the kpop world, time moves much faster. Many groups, especially those from small companies, don't survive past their second year, while groups from the big three almost always have their first win with their debut song, mostly because they can afford better vocal coaches, the companies reputation guarantees them the best candidates for the groups, while smaller companies get the "left overs", they can properly advertise and promote, plus they have the company bonus: "Other groups from this company are successful, so this new group will be successful too. Let's check them out." This mentality ulitmately leads to those groups being successful, as they have way more exposure right off the bat as groups from small companies. The mentality towards groups from small companies is the opposite: "I have never heard of this company, they don't have any significant artists. This new group of their's can't be anything special either". In BTS' comany, there was only one girl group which disbanded soon after a scandal and a vocal duo, which has broken up last year, and now BTS. No one expected anything from them, therefore no one bothered to check them out. They were expected to go down, but with effort, hard work, and a lot of blood, sweat and tears, the finally worked their way up into the spotlight. Their succsess story seems like a fairy tale, it's really unbelieveable. It took BTS 4 albums till they finally won that award. Now, those music show wins seem like something small, for Fake Love alone we already won 8 of those awards in the bag without much effort, but back then it was HUGE. It was an incredible milestone. *Edit:* Daesangs are the grand prizes at the big music award shows like MAMA, MMA, Gaon, etc (Artist, Album and Song Of The Year) they're pretty rigged, since most of them are sponsored by the big three, but their importance for kpop idols can be compared to the Billboard Music Awards or the American Music Awards in the US. MAMA even calls themselves the "Korean Grammy's", but knowing how rigged it is... They're known for distributing awards "fairly", fair in terms of everyone of the big three gets one, but now that BTS is on the playground, they're getting in trouble. They were blantly robbed last year, it was maddeing to watch. When you know that BTS is slaying not only the US charts, but worldwide as well, and has the highest album sales in history, but the awards for Album of the Year, Global Artist, etc are going to someone else who completely flopped for their standards... you know what's up. Fingers crossed that BTS will be a bit less obviously robbed this year. At least winning a Daesang as a group from a small company despite the manipulation really shows, that you EARNED it. Your impact is so big, that it can't be overlooked and the award show is forced to give it to you, so it's not that obivous that they're trying to please their sponsors.

about u mention 3big companies - The Big Three are SM, JYP, and YG. BTS has been with BigHit from the beginning. Before BTS became worldwide, BigHit was in the red and no one thought BigHit and BTS would make it. The Big Three control the entertainment media and are able to give their artists lots of exposure, while BigHit didn’t even have enough money to always feed them well or get extras for music videos. BTS and BigHit are family. Though They are nation pride right now, brand value approx 1 billion us$

yes the hard work pays off and sticking till the end pays off but I think the true miracle in BTS story, the thing that made them explode internationally and not just receive great things in Korea is st really unexpected, that is the power of goodness in young ppl. They are the embodiment of good in young ppl, and their lyrics and expression echoed with millions of young ppl suffering and feel the comfort and the good in their lyrics and decided to support and echo that even further. With their hardwork alone they would have been just successful at the level of MAMA and receive things within Korea.But the reason they are receiving internationally is 100% bc of ARMYs, they stand for our voice our pain our wishes

I do love this vid. and it covers so much which is pretty hard to do. They did win awards though from the beginning like new artist and rookie of the year awards. But the thing is they had so much working against them from the start. Being from a relatively unknown company with no pull or who had no other big name artists made it much harder because they had to go up against artists from the big 3 companies who pretty much controlled everything including broadcast companies media the music shows. It was a sort of corrupt business. Plus these companies spent so much money creating and molding their artists controlling everything including their songs. Those companies hardly ever allow their artists to get involved in any aspect of their own career. So of course they will do anything to have their artists win to get all the money back invested in them. This is why we all love BigHit so much because they unlike most companies allow BTS to produce and write their own songs and somewhat control their own destiny. There are some other groups that write their own music but not many. It was really hard especially in the beginning to get on any of these shows that were controlled by the big three and when they did they were not really treated well or with any respect! The fans from groups from these big companies were especially foul spreading false harmful rumors or just saying really nasty ugly things that to this day it's really hard for army to forget. So aside from their own struggle they had to deal with all this as well.

I'm an army and I had to subscribe. It's not often that people appreciate all of the things bts went through to get to where they are now. Alot was excluded from this video though, alot of the criticism, hate and hate petitions against them were excluded. Being accused of sajaegi, stealing big bang's style(over a frickin hairstyle no less), being told they weren't good looking enough to be idols(especially the rappers), the almost complete blackout from Korean media around 2017 when bts were already making history but got barely any acknowledgement by kmedia because they weren't from the big 3 companies and so much more. Bts has had to put up with so much and they deserve the world. That's why army's are so protective of them and try so hard to help them win awards and accolades. To this day the damage to their confidence hasn't been completely reversed as they still question their own success and talent even though they work incredibly hard. They always credit army with their accomplishments and feel as if they owe us their all in return. Bts are legends and I'm so proud to stan such an amazing group of men.
That's all that matters. Is that we're all here now. We all found them on our own time and we will stick together. I found them when I most needed them around sept. 2017, and I know I'm not going anywhere either. 💜💜

I dont know, imo, I think it's easier to watch these kinds of videos and learn more about them as a group/individuals, and then see their mvs. I actually watched videos like these first and it made it so much easier for me to understand them but ig everyone's different

Because of all the struggles, all the pain we went through when it was BTS+ARMY against the world, both us and BTS have become very dependent and very very very close with each other. Sometimes it might seem that us ARMYs are too protective of BTS, but after so much bad shit (that was Not included in the video, believe me when I say that the worst things were not mentioned in the video) were are very protective. BTS has done so much for us (so many people might not be here if not for encountering BTS at our lowest points in time) so we are willing to do so much and more to support them. We really are kind of like one big family, honestly I have never seen such a genuine bond and care between artist and fandom ever in my life. I don't know what I'd like to see next, definitely some live performances. (Melon 2016, MAMA 2016, whole sets from Melon and MAMA 2017, whole sets from the end of year Gayo festivals). Or perhaps the storyline watch through (divided into parts)? INU original ver., Prologue, Run, etc, through the WINGS short movies, etc etc. Sure U can find the order for those if you search it :)

The thing with their win at MAMA, where the caption said that people started petitioning against them, the anti-fans at the show started screaming profanities and called them the Plagiarism Boys and ended up making a hash tag about it. The BTS ARMY were screaming really loud so that the group wouldn't hear it. The hash tag ended up getting so much traction that it nearly ruined BigHit and BTS, they received threats and many people spreading lies about them (ie: calling them rapists and perverts). BTS really did go through hell to be where they are. There's a lot to be said about what each members went through, like RM was perpetually insulted about his appearance, that in his older videos he'd often wear sunglasses because of it. Jimin hadn't completely lost his baby fat in his cheeks and people made fun of him, ending up on a very strict and unhealthy diet which had him pass out during rehearsals. V's grandma died while they were on tour and antis brought up rudely. Through all of this they persevered, and I'm extremely glad that they've got global recognition.

And you will see, one of the biggest reasons they are where they are today (aside from the fact that they are insanely talented and dedicated) is because they don't treat the ARMY like fans, but instead like very close friends... which is why we love them so much.

i was there when they struggle a lot i laugh when they laugh i cried a river when they cry. and every time i am seeing wherever they are rn i am proud to be a part of BTS, BIG HIT & ARMY FAMILY. we ARMY's before stay up until 3 am to stream there MV's 1M views is so hard for us before. When bts was nominated in any awards we ARMY's vote as many as we can but many times we failed. BTS was nearly disbanded during NO era coz of the company they are in was facing a hard time. BIG hit before can't even afford to give bts a money for there foods. the oldest who's name is JIN go home and get some foods for the younger members. this video is not enough to see what all the struggles they had. petition here and there, hate here and there. that's how people treat them before. me as a part of BTS voting team shared my struggles when it comes to voting to my fellow ARMY. we cried and cried in a group chat coz we don't know what we should do to show people that they deserve to win. we are using thousands of accounts to vote. you can vote as many as you can. we cried when we can't give bts the award that they deserve. but we never give up just like what our boys did. we never get tired of sharing and telling bts stories to other people. and we are very happy that bts can have what they really deserve rn. Everything was under attack, their name, their faces, their music. And success they imagined and worked for didn't come, only more struggle and new debts.
Imagine working your ass of till u can't move for years for hope to debut as part of group. Hoping things gonna get a little better and get welcome like that. How they managed not to crumble to dust after that is a miracle. What is worse nothing much changed, they still lived in that same room with no space to breath, but now they had more things to do, trying to promote and sell your music so you get even less time to sleep. You can see in their behind scenes videos in early years always passing out sleeping in chairs, floor, couches behind stages. They where that overworked and exhausted all the time.
And i'm not even talking about how some where in conflict with parents, because they decided to do music as carrier, how they suffered for depression, anxiety, how they where so young and all alone in Seoul and have opportunities to see their family few time/year. And theres still so much more.
We love BTS for their honesty, authenticity, sincerity. Not their faces. We love to hear those personal stories in their music, we can relate to their struggles, same struggle we have. The fact that they overcome it all and are not corrupted but decent human beings give hope that u can do it to. I didn't have even half of struggles they had, so why the hell i should not be able do the same? Their example inspires to work harder, be tougher. That is why so many people work to make them succeed. Because they deserve to be an success story and because it give us hope for our future too. (credit to tesiog leva, she really explained it well)

S.korea is in huge shock right now because group from small and unknown company got big in the world especially US. Fyi, just recently when they top billboard chart 200 that korean media rushing to cover about them. Before this, its been rumored that BTS got korean media blackout on them because of Big3( SM, Jyp, YG). Koreans are really curious about them on how they can be big when BTS not even active on shows on tv. BTS used social media to counter discrimination by korean media toward them. They built fanbase purely from their amazing music and relationship toward their fans. Some koreans even dont even know back then that amazing songs they heard actually BTS songs because koreans themselves are having own prejudice toward idol music. I am glad that finally right now korea recognize their effort and talents plus achievements. They are everywhere in korea right now. They are nation pride right now. They are known for having brand value as 1bil usd.
YES,it's true. I am korean and I didn't know about BTS very well until they were on AMA last year. I read some article about their performance in AMA and started to look for MVs on youtube .....and you know, I was really shocked that everyting about them was sooooo ~~ great. their MVs, dance practices, live shows, even relationships between themselves, and so on..Finally i became ARMY and so many people are acting like me in korea now. BTS..They are real legend .

Etika Loves Minecraft in korea it's very different than from here, they might be v popular internationally but they weren't in sk until the billboard/ama articles started coming out! Most people only knew old groups like Bigbang and Snsd so it did take them a while
Thanks for recognizing BTS! I only feel sad and disappointed for their previous treatment from korean media especially during last year BBMA when their winning not even trending on top at naver when other idols can easily trending on the top with random things. It such a huge accomplishment and we army tried really hard to promote BTS and getting them to chart well. We feel the deserve all those recognization.
I am kpop follower since 2010 so i can easily recognize and detect which group is actually good but i do have prejudice on idol as i am growing up about them being manufactured previously. I even dismissed BTS at first despite i actually really impressed their song i need you because i thought they were just another trending group. Then fast forward 2016, i keep hearing hype about them and also there were a lot youtube reactions about them that make me end up research about them and the rest is history. And yes, BTS is just on another level for most kpop groups. Everything about them are really impressive. They are definitely the right group to represent korea right now. They are nation pride.

I really like hearing your thoughts! There's so much more to learn abt these guys and i can't wait to see more videos from you on them. Even though this video was quite throughout, the more you learn abt Bts the more you learn to appreciate them as well. At least that's what happened to me. After learning all the struggles they had only just few years ago i already respected them so much and still new stuff keeps popping up. For example, before their TH-cam Red series Burn The Stage, none of us fans knew that Yoongi literally got hit by a car and dislocated his shoulder but bc he feared that the company might let him go bc of his injury, he told no one and just pushed through. They really are so inspiring and it's incredible to see how far they've come and there seems to be no end to their success! :)

The free concert at the beginning was here in Los Angeles. They not only had to hand out flyers they had to do it in a language they didn't fully know in a country not their own. But they did it. So proud of them.

To be honest, this video is only showed small amount about what BTS had been trough. From the first they debuting people and other fandom already mocking them because of their group name, their face which not suitable to korean beauty standart, n their song too. They also trough plagiarism issue just because same hair colour, same foto shoot concept, same wardrobe. Then there are Sajaegi issue (it is means bts brought their own album only to make higher rank in the korean chart). Dead threat to bts member. And a lot of more. It is almost ruined bts career, until BigHit (BTS management company) takes a legal action about it n they won. BigHit even asked to south korean government to investigated their own company to clear the Sajaegi issue. N again the proff it that they are clean. You can check it in google. I believe they still recorded there. That was why old ARMY is kind over protective to their boys. They don't want that terrible thing happen again. 😔

Those scenes where they were out on the streets asking the public to attend their concert were part of their 2014 reality show American Hustle Life which took place in LA. As part of their training they had to record songs which they composed themselves, organized a concert and get people to attend. It took them out of their comfort zones but they pulled it off at the end

*A little info on what music shows are, since I don't think that the US has anything similar, or maybe I'm just out of the loop lmao:* A music show is where artists promote their new song(s). There are 6 different show, each on a different day of the week, and they happen every single week. The artists perform between 1 and 3 songs, depending on how in demand they are (if you're from a small company and no one cares about you, it can happen that your song gets edited so that it's shorter and some even get edited out completely), and at the end, the one artist wins. The winner is chosen differently depending on which music show it is, but most include streams, album sales, votes, some have judges and attendance scores too. Basically, the most successful artist of the week wins.
Two years till their first win on a small music show probably doesn't seem much to you, since you're used to western artists who usually take much longer to release music than Korean artists, but in the kpop world, time moves much faster. Many groups, especially those from small companies, don't survive past their second year, while groups from the big three almost always have their first win with their debut song, mostly because they can afford better vocal coaches, the companies reputation guarantees them the best candidates for the groups, while smaller companies get the "left overs", they can properly advertise and promote, plus they have the company bonus: "Other groups from this company are successful, so this new group will be successful too. Let's check them out."
This mentality ulitmately leads to those groups being successful, as they have way more exposure right off the bat as groups from small companies. The mentality towards groups from small companies is the opposite: "I have never heard of this company, they don't have any significant artists. This new group of their's can't be anything special either". In BTS' comany, there was only one girl group which disbanded soon after a scandal and a vocal duo, which has broken up last year, and now BTS.
No one expected anything from them, therefore no one bothered to check them out. They were expected to go down, but with effort, hard work, and a lot of blood, sweat and tears, the finally worked their way up into the spotlight. Their succsess story seems like a fairy tale, it's really unbelieveable. It took BTS 4 albums till they finally won that award. Now, those music show wins seem like something small, for Fake Love alone we already won 8 of those awards in the bag without much effort, but back then it was HUGE. It was an incredible milestone.
*Edit:* Daesangs are the grand prizes at the big music award shows like MAMA, MMA, Gaon, etc (Artist, Album and Song Of The Year) they're pretty rigged, since most of them are sponsored by the big three, but their importance for kpop idols can be compared to the Billboard Music Awards or the American Music Awards in the US. MAMA even calls themselves the "Korean Grammy's", but knowing how rigged it is... They're known for distributing awards "fairly", fair in terms of everyone of the big three gets one, but now that BTS is on the playground, they're getting in trouble. They were blantly robbed last year, it was maddeing to watch. When you know that BTS is slaying not only the US charts, but worldwide as well, and has the highest album sales in history, but the awards for Album of the Year, Global Artist, etc are going to someone else who completely flopped for their standards... you know what's up. Fingers crossed that BTS will be a bit less obviously robbed this year.
At least winning a Daesang as a group from a small company despite the manipulation really shows, that you EARNED it. Your impact is so big, that it can't be overlooked and the award show is forced to give it to you, so it's not that obivous that they're trying to please their sponsors.

yes the hard work pays off and sticking till the end pays off but I think the true miracle in BTS story, the thing that made them explode internationally and not just receive great things in Korea is st really unexpected, that is the power of goodness in young ppl. They are the embodiment of good in young ppl, and their lyrics and expression echoed with millions of young ppl suffering and feel the comfort and the good in their lyrics and decided to support and echo that even further. With their hardwork alone they would have been just successful at the level of MAMA and receive things within Korea.But the reason they are receiving internationally is 100% bc of ARMYs, they stand for our voice our pain our wishes

I do love this vid. and it covers so much which is pretty hard to do. They did win awards though from the beginning like new artist and rookie of the year awards. But the thing is they had so much working against them from the start. Being from a relatively unknown company with no pull or who had no other big name artists made it much harder because they had to go up against artists from the big 3 companies who pretty much controlled everything including broadcast companies media the music shows. It was a sort of corrupt business. Plus these companies spent so much money creating and molding their artists controlling everything including their songs. Those companies hardly ever allow their artists to get involved in any aspect of their own career. So of course they will do anything to have their artists win to get all the money back invested in them. This is why we all love BigHit so much because they unlike most companies allow BTS to produce and write their own songs and somewhat control their own destiny. There are some other groups that write their own music but not many. It was really hard especially in the beginning to get on any of these shows that were controlled by the big three and when they did they were not really treated well or with any respect! The fans from groups from these big companies were especially foul spreading false harmful rumors or just saying really nasty ugly things that to this day it's really hard for army to forget. So aside from their own struggle they had to deal with all this as well.

I'm an army and I had to subscribe. It's not often that people appreciate all of the things bts went through to get to where they are now. Alot was excluded from this video though, alot of the criticism, hate and hate petitions against them were excluded. Being accused of sajaegi, stealing big bang's style(over a frickin hairstyle no less), being told they weren't good looking enough to be idols(especially the rappers), the almost complete blackout from Korean media around 2017 when bts were already making history but got barely any acknowledgement by kmedia because they weren't from the big 3 companies and so much more. Bts has had to put up with so much and they deserve the world. That's why army's are so protective of them and try so hard to help them win awards and accolades. To this day the damage to their confidence hasn't been completely reversed as they still question their own success and talent even though they work incredibly hard. They always credit army with their accomplishments and feel as if they owe us their all in return. Bts are legends and I'm so proud to stan such an amazing group of men.
That's all that matters. Is that we're all here now. We all found them on our own time and we will stick together. I found them when I most needed them around sept. 2017, and I know I'm not going anywhere either. 💜💜

I dont know, imo, I think it's easier to watch these kinds of videos and learn more about them as a group/individuals, and then see their mvs. I actually watched videos like these first and it made it so much easier for me to understand them but ig everyone's different

Because of all the struggles, all the pain we went through when it was BTS+ARMY against the world, both us and BTS have become very dependent and very very very close with each other. Sometimes it might seem that us ARMYs are too protective of BTS, but after so much bad shit (that was Not included in the video, believe me when I say that the worst things were not mentioned in the video) were are very protective. BTS has done so much for us (so many people might not be here if not for encountering BTS at our lowest points in time) so we are willing to do so much and more to support them. We really are kind of like one big family, honestly I have never seen such a genuine bond and care between artist and fandom ever in my life.
I don't know what I'd like to see next, definitely some live performances. (Melon 2016, MAMA 2016, whole sets from Melon and MAMA 2017, whole sets from the end of year Gayo festivals). Or perhaps the storyline watch through (divided into parts)? INU original ver., Prologue, Run, etc, through the WINGS short movies, etc etc. Sure U can find the order for those if you search it :)
Our boys is so precious, and Our leader RM is the best leader in the world, he never failed to call ARMYs first before his speech, as you can see the first word comes out from RM mouth is ARMY. We purple them so much, that videos cause a lot of tears from armys.. 😊😊😊

The thing with their win at MAMA, where the caption said that people started petitioning against them, the anti-fans at the show started screaming profanities and called them the Plagiarism Boys and ended up making a hash tag about it. The BTS ARMY were screaming really loud so that the group wouldn't hear it.
The hash tag ended up getting so much traction that it nearly ruined BigHit and BTS, they received threats and many people spreading lies about them (ie: calling them rapists and perverts). BTS really did go through hell to be where they are.
There's a lot to be said about what each members went through, like RM was perpetually insulted about his appearance, that in his older videos he'd often wear sunglasses because of it. Jimin hadn't completely lost his baby fat in his cheeks and people made fun of him, ending up on a very strict and unhealthy diet which had him pass out during rehearsals. V's grandma died while they were on tour and antis brought up rudely.
Through all of this they persevered, and I'm extremely glad that they've got global recognition.

And of course, look up their lyric videos. And you will see, one of the biggest reasons they are where they are today (aside from the fact that they are insanely talented and dedicated) is because they don't treat the ARMY like fans, but instead like very close friends... which is why we love them so much.

i was there when they struggle a lot i laugh when they laugh i cried a river when they cry. and every time i am seeing wherever they are rn i am proud to be a part of BTS, BIG HIT & ARMY FAMILY. we ARMY's before stay up until 3 am to stream there MV's 1M views is so hard for us before. When bts was nominated in any awards we ARMY's vote as many as we can but many times we failed. BTS was nearly disbanded during NO era coz of the company they are in was facing a hard time. BIG hit before can't even afford to give bts a money for there foods. the oldest who's name is JIN go home and get some foods for the younger members. this video is not enough to see what all the struggles they had.

that's how people treat them before. me as a part of BTS voting team shared my struggles when it comes to voting to my fellow ARMY. we cried and cried in a group chat coz we don't know what we should do to show people that they deserve to win.
we are using thousands of accounts to vote. you can vote as many as you can. we cried when we can't give bts the award that they deserve. but we never give up just like what our boys did. we never get tired of sharing and telling bts stories to other people. and we are very happy that bts can have what they really deserve rn. I am a very proud member of this FAMILY
