I am pulling for both Zhongli and Neuvilette. Since, Mavuika is an archon, she can get rerun later.
better get them sooner though, rumors she may get rerun 5.7 that's ways off, Archons tend to be best units pull for, why people don't have Zhongli will pull for him this update, still been great since 1.1

@@Rulz559that’s my thought too. I’ll pull for Zhongli because his arc is long behind us and it is unlikely Hoyo would rerun him anytime soon. They have a lot of Natlan characters to go through and there is a greater chance they will rerun Mavuika with them than put an older archon in there.

A word of advice from someone who made a mistake of skipping characters and regretting it later. I was gonna pull for Wrio, but then saw a bunch of videos telling people to skip because of the Hydro Archon. Now I've been waiting for his rerun for over a year, while Furina already got hers a while ago LMAO. Just pull for whoever you want. Archons usually get a rerun soon anyway, while others might take a year or more to get theirs.

@@YuzuhaGD there is in my case. I use Layla, shield almost as strong at C6, and enough cryo to help with cristallization. Otherwise I'm running full geo with Chiori, Xilonen and queen B miss Navia🤍💛💛💛

Actually very good move. I got him pretty early, never even built a shielder before I got him since he reran fairly soon after I started playing, and now the only other shielders I have built are Kirara and kind of Yanfei (kind of built and kind of a shielder). You can make a few shielders work and some healers are great but with some content you get killed so quickly that you can't heal, and it's great to have a BIG shield for interruption resistance or like Hu Tao. Nice to genuinely not need a healer or dodging. As for skill issues besides the ping there are just some hard things to dodge. As a dark souls veteran (not amazing at them but played a TON) I'm kinda bad at dodging in genshin. Getting better and it IS a skill issue partially but there's less responsiveness and enemy telegraphing sometimes and then when there's a bunch of enemies, ranged ones or ones behind you, and then like in the new combat event where you NEED to dodge even with cracked healers, I just genuinely can't see what's going on at all through all the visual effects sometimes (screw the triple samurai guys in the event, the amount of times that wind guy would snipe me out of nowhere and stun me into getting killed in one quick go...

I'm also pulling for Zhongli, I skipped every Natlan char for him, I need him for Arlecchino, and probably Neuvillette, too. He reduces the resistance too so he's quite good.
Zhongli is the reason why I'm playing Genshin. I have 8 pity + 203 pulls ready ❤

If anyone does want to spend, get the Welkin. It's very valuable for its price. Saving story or world quests to supplement the 90 given per day + dailies can give you a wish per day easily. I also save getting achievements for this end. It gives a long-term way to save.
Getting the batte pass a patch before a character rerun you want can help to. You can also get some weapons on top of that. Both these can just be one time purchases to save and there is no commitment.
It is about 17'ish dollars for both.

@@ch_ips I personally am going for his weapon, since it gives good crit damage, 88%. That way you can reach over 300% crit damage if you build him good.
@@ch_ips the new bosses are getting harder and harder to beat so if your neuvis charged attacks are getting interrupted many times then go for c1 as you can get good crit damage from good artifact pieces but if interruption is not an issue then go for weapon. But I would prefer c1 cuz you don't need zhongli and could slot in an extra support or sub dps in that space.

wanna know what a smarter move is? save for the character you really want and when you get the character save the rest for future characters rerun.

I’m curious as to why? Is there a system in place that raises your chances the later you pull?
I made this mistake pulling for Xilonen on the first day, only to realize that her playstyle didn’t suit me and I found it difficult to slot her into my existing teams. Not to mention that her boss is stupidly hard for me and getting her more than lvl60 will take me forever based on my current skills 😅
So now I’m busting my butt for primos and praying that the Gatcha gods bless me with Nahida in the next 30 wishes. Otherwise I’ll have to decide if it’s worth buying crystals.

@@mistymoon883 I can understand. I have a similar issue with Mualani's playstyle, but I primarily pulled her to get across water without running out of stamina. Xilonen is excellent for climbing walls. I don't even know how I functioned before I added her and Kinich to my account. Whenever I do exploration the two of them are stuck to my team just because they make getting around so easy. 😄
I got Kinich to level 90 on the first day since I had been prefarming for him and he's been a game changer for me. He's made exploration a lot faster and is my strongest character.

Pull whoever you want! I have Neuvillette and he's my best character with crit rate 69% and crit damage 253%. He's fun to play and I don't regret pulling for him. Plus, Mavuika will get a rerun, I'm not sure when Neuvillette will get one again as this will be his second rerun

C1 Neuvi gets resistance while doing his charged attack but Zhongli is the best shielder, you take no damage while in his shield(it depends on your Zhongli health) but I really want to get his C2 because of the damage increase, my Crit DMG is below 200% and C2 might save me

I'm on a somewhat similar boat. Neuvillette I already have. Zhongli and Mavuika are getting pullled on on my alt. And my main is thus waiting for Citlali and Wriothesley for the Catalyst Collection. By time Wriothesley will get a rerun I'll have enough wishes, even if he (might) rerun with Citlali.
But those more recent leaks pointed out that Shenhe had a higher chance of getting a rerun than Wriothesley has no? So no idea... all we can do it wait.

i dont particularly like the natlan character designs, its just too chaotic for me lol. i do like exploration there cuz its very rewarding. the only natlan character 5 star i might pull will be kinich because his design is with more muted colors and sticks to one color theme

As a guy I couldn't care less for the majority of the female characters in this game simply because I don't like most of their designs. Since being a kid I play games mainly for the male cast because I enjoy them more overall. I never cared about simping and such. For most people this video does not make much sense because people pull for their favourite characters rather than meta. At least in a lot of cases :)

my takeway from this is that you should skip all of them and pull for Citlali,because after this she will be stuck in cryo jail meanwhile every other character here will get a rerun eventually(especially mavuika)

There's another point to mention, which is you as an ftp player were saving for Mavuika but got interested in one of the new characters, you might one of them plus Mavuika because her banner will be in January, so you'll have time to farm for her and events to come will help to primos. But all of that will be determined by how many primos you have currently and how lucky you are with the banners.

I'm still pulling for Neuvillette, he's the #1 reason why I started playing Genshin again, and I accidently skipped his banner in April, so no amount of convincing will change my mind.
other interesting banner info to take into consideration.
citlali is to become a standard banner character. so, even if you want her, it may be best to wait until getting her by either losing a 50/50 or by pulling on the standard banner, instead of wasting more important wishes and primo on her.
capitano and collumbina have good chance to get their banners and it's all the more true for capitano.
also, furina is to make her come back later as well. one of the best support, a great off field dps/hydro applier and also a good healer. plus, she have access to both pneuma and ousia as a bonus, and can walk on walk, making her great for exploration and even more in fontaine.
another reason to pull for mavuika is natlan's exploration. she'll no doubt have a skill which will prove quite useful to explore natlan. better take her sooner then later, while natlan still have exploration to do. she'll also be helpful outside of natlan to explore... just not as useful as in natlan.
last reason i can come up with. venti have yet to return. kazuha may be a bit better then him, but as the anemo archon, venti still can be quite useful in the right hands.

My sister has been saving up like mad for her hosbando zhongli. There's no way in Nilou (heaven), paimon's fishing dialogue (hell), or sleepy layla (space) that she wont pull on him. Mavuika next or no mavuika next (who she also wants) :P
But jokes aside, pulling him now is probably better. Mavuika is almost guaranteed to rerun again faster than him.
1- people here will wish for the nearest thing which is neuvillette, then won't have enough for when the new and recent Mavuika drops
2- her kit is bound to be great, possibly one of the best offield DPS, or even onfielder and offielder on the same kit
3- Will likely make ATK units stronger since pyro, like the previous archons have an associated element, pyro has ATK so the meta will shift to benefit ATK scalers
4- probably won't benefit neuvillette or work with him since he doesn't want ATK, and isn't a good/consistent vape carry, making it an indirect nerf since every team around him would get better without him improving
5- she'll be just as valuable as Furina, but for pyro, and Furina is used in a LOT of teams due to how good she is
6- She's way more likely to be a support, so she'll be used in a lot of teams unlike DPS characters that aren't that flexible (furina example again)
The best thing to do would be way till the 20th when leaks drop, and the see if you really aren't missing out. I bet a lot of people RN like neuvillette because he's "meta" but will be missing out on Mavuika and the Pyro MC that can shake things around A LOT and Mavuika being a way nicer character than Neuvilette, both dps and support, movement included in the kit etcetc

I reset Genshin at August last year and pulled Yelan first, then Zhongli C2. Glad I pulled them out of confort for clearing content and abyss runs.

As a veteran player with both Zhongli and Neuvillette I see this as a complete win.

And possibly his weapon (I really want it) recently I got Nadia (denro archon) so I think I will enjoy using her for a bit with neuvi. Also I would like to say how much I appreciate your channel like it’s one of the most reliable channels and the fact you always think of the f2p players (like me lol) is really awesome ❤
I've never wanted to pull Mavuika anyway and have been dyjng waiting for neuvilette's rerun so I'm definitely pulling for him after all the suffering of waiting for him

I really want to get my Neuvillette to C1 and have high pity, so hopefully it won't be too costly. Since he's second half it gives me even more time to save for both him and Mavuika (presumably 5.3 first half).
Neuvilette is a must pull. Incredibly ease of use and strong. Also will be an evergreen unit just off of the strength of his kit, hydro element and HP scaling. Mavuika will be cracked of course, but as an archon, she's guaranteed a lot of re-runs and relatively soon too.
I have two accounts and on the first one, I have Neuvillette. I'll definitely be pulling for him on my newer account because he's fun to play and AWESOME, and not hard to build at all. Mavuika can wait. I don't have Zhongli on either account, so I'm considering pulling for him on my first account. But I've made it this far without a shielder so....I'm not really sure that I even need him. Neuvillette has never been a disappointment, and taking him to the desert is really funny when he expresses that it might be an assassination attempt.😂

To be honest, you should pull for Zhongli or Neuvilette, or even maybe Lyney. Since they are mostly High Value Character, dont sleep on Lyney.
Since Mavuika will released in 5.3, her rerun will be in 5.7 or 5.8. As for Fontaine, it is actually a special case. They started to rerun after 5 patches.
I've been playing since December 2020 with 2-3 breaks in these past 4 years. At this point of my gameplay life, I'd rather primarily invest in what I have and only get someone new if I feel really attached and ready for the grind. Mavuika has been great so far, but I'd rather upgrade my Neuvillette from C1 to C2. I've got some primos saved and a guaranteed, so C1 will be doable, but after that I'll wait and only if the 5.3. livestream doesn't impress me enough will I try going for C3. I have Zhongli at C1 and I'm quite content with having him there so I can focus on other characters as well. Everyone is saying Mavuika is a "must pull", "unmissable" and "a shame to not have", but considering we don't have any solid leaks, it's best to go easy on the superlatives, even if she's an archon.
One thing I will say is Mav is an Archon, so she is likely to rerun in 4 months after her first banner.
But this is Nuev's 3rd banner. So no telling when he'll get his next banner.

Honestly, as a f2p player and even though I don't need another pyro character, I am on the lookout for Mavuika, especially if her motorbike can help me climb mountains easier.

You should get Neuvillette's weapon. Reason? Because new archons always run four patches after their release. You won't get Neuvillette for another year though.

If someone is skeptical spending their saving for Mavuika, just know she will get a rerun this 5.X like every other archon does in the past
I’m a weirdly patient person. I’m absolutely gonna wait on Mavuika’s rerun, cause she will definitely get a rerun. I actually like seeing people figure new characters out before I pull for them. I don’t see why Neuvillette won’t get a rerun before 6.X. I know he’s had plenty of reruns and other characters need a rerun more, but I still don’t know if Hoyo would stop rerunning him. However, I know they’re not gonna rerun Zhongli til 6.X. So I’m probably gonna throw a few 10 pulls at his banner and see what happens. Especially if he’s got good 4 stars on his banner. Also, if Capitano ever becomes playable, I’m 100% getting him on his debut banner. I have no idea if/when they’ll ever rerun him, plus he’s probably cryo and they literally never rerun cryo characters lol.
by the second phase of 5.2 i will probably have around 200 wishes, I think I'll take the risk of pulling for Neuvi, I still need to be convinced for Mavuika
