Hi, The Nova Ride component is bigger than the standard one. So, with Nova Ride part you may use a new chain. Impossible to tell you exactly the number of links you need in addition it also depends on many other parameters like the size of your bike and the groupset parameters you have. We often recommend adding 3 to 5 links compared to your previous chain. We made a How To Calculate The Correct Chain Length video: th-cam.com/video/r1z0D6rfHJA/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps! Kind regards, Tom - Nova Ride
I just bought one for my 105 12s mechanical but at first the seller said its for 11s then tell me back that it is compatible for 12s 105 too, its written 2nd generation of the product, i havent received the ospw yet but i wonder is it true that ita compatible with my new 105 12s mechanical? Just afraid that shifting is not at its best, i hope i got good news from here 🤞🏻🙏🏻

The spin is so smooth. Just wonder currently I’m using full 105 stock cassette 11/32 crank 34/50 and I’m planning to install the nova oswp 12/20t. Do I need to change the chain or I can keep using the current one ?
The chain must be sized up so that the stopper of the nova ride pulley is under tension (i.e. 2-3mm gap from the derailleur body when in small sprocket on rear and small cog on front
Hi! The subtitles says the spring should be mounted in the left hole but the instructor is mounting the spring in the right hole in the video. What is actually correct?
Hi Benjamin, Both hole are ok, the one on right enable better accuracy of shifting but slower, and the other enable faster shifting but little more difficult to set up accuracy of shifting Kind Regards, Nova Team
Hi, Sorry, this is only compatible with Shimano Ultegra R8000-8050-8070 / Dura-Ace R9100-9150-9170 version. We also have a 105 R7000 version Kind regards, Nova Team
I love the way they spin so smooth. Ihave a question. Now i am using ultegra r8000 GS (medium long cage) mechanical groupset with 11 34 cassette. Can i swap the stock shimano cage with Nova ride OSPW while keep using my 11 34 cassette without getting any shifting trouble? Because i read in the website that they recommend to use 32 cog maximum
Hello Zaniar, We recommend 32T maximum, however it can be mounted on 34T where a derailleur adjustment will be necessary for a good shifting Regards, Tom from Nova

Just to you know, the actual "dust cover" is not showed in the video. But actually it seems should attach on the spring.
Indeed, well seen! It is not there on the part at the time of assembly. But in any case that has an impact on the assembly ;)
@@novatoride thanks, I was wondering what “dust cover” you talking about then I Googled it and it showed in the CS installation video...
