I have an LC103 and it was working fine about 2 months ago. Went to use it to test some new caps before installing them and they all read wrong. They were 470uf and they all read about 98,000uf. Tried reading some others of various values and they are also reading way off. I wonder if this EPROM has failed causing this problem.
I have the chance to buy an old Sencore LC103 but I don't want to spend so much money on a device that I cannot calibrate by myself. In case you have a copy of the Sensore LC103 calibration software, would you mind sending me a copy? I would be very grateful. Thanks a lot in advance, Mike
The Last eprom lc103 ver 1.53. Bk889b are good tester too. BK will do in a circuit
It's sad when companies claim they have a lifetime warranty and when they dissolve a product line they just throw everything in the trash.
Thank you for documenting the data on those eproms. I would assume everything else is replaceable on this model?

Or buy an eprom or 10, program them now, sell them, keep a couple programmed ones for yourself.
