Classic Shadow...I dig his new stuff but he'll never top his old production. While musical progression is always good in a producer sometimes going back and revisiting old techniques is never bad either more so now than ever.
Shadow's early 90's to late 90's surreal sounding trippy production style is the best, for sure. Private Press and on Shadow is.....meh. Last good things he did were Brainfreeze and Product Placement with Cut Chemist.
Damn, where'd you find this? Going to assume this is the kind of shit you're only going to be able to cop on a private tracker. EDIT:Found where it's off....a sampler album: www.discogs.com/DJ-Shadow-Sampler/release/1055815

His solo albums started succumbing to the whole pop rap trend.
Private press was a brilliant album using records that were Only given a private press release (less than 500 copy releases)

RM76 I found it after hours of searching one day. It was on some obscure, unknown mp3 host. Glad you found a more reputable source.
