Great video! Have you made a video showing the installing of seals and total reassembly? If not, please do so. Your video is very informative !! Thanks again.
4:18 you didn't get that off without taking off the snap ring, wonder how many people figured it out like I did and how many people busted that trying to do it like you did?
I have a 1990 K2500 8-lug truck, with an NP241c. I'm trying to find out whether or not the speedometer gear on the 241c is a 40-tooth gear or not. I'm looking to swap my stock TH400 to a 4l80e.
I dont know how you tubers do it! There is no organization in how you guys just set your parts here and there! it is sometimes weeks and weeks before I can get back to finishing my projects. my regular job, trying to get parts or Information ON and ON......
I don't have a kit put together for these yet, but I have most of the OEM parts so I could put one together in a couple days. I would just need to know your assembly number and if your case is a right or left drop.
There will be a detailed disassembly and reassembly video in the next few months. I needed bearing numbers ASAP so I just made this quick video on parting one out.
I wish you would have told us what size wrenches and sockets you were using during the video but other than that it was very helpful thank you

The reassembly is the opposite of the disassembly. I can't believe I had to say this....

This wasn't an in depth procedure, just a basic overview. Our in depth videos are available for sale on our website.
