As a Gothic metal band from Switzerland, Lacrimosa has won a wide fan base worldwide with its unique musical style and profound, philosophical lyrics. In China, they have a large fan community. Lacrimosa's music is not only an acoustic pleasure but also an emotional release and a resonance of the soul. Lacrimosa ist more than music, it is also an aesthetic symbol and a lifestyle.
Since their first visit to China in 2006, Lacrimosa has visited the country repeatedly for eighteen years till now, becoming an irreplaceable Gothic Icon in the hearts of Chinese fans. With each visit, Lacrimosa brings new works and highly impactful live performances. The closeness between Lacrimosa and their Chinese fans is reflected not only in their music and performances but also in their appreciation and respect for Chinese culture and cuisine.
In 2024, during their seventh visit to China for their debut performance in Beijing, Lacrimosa was interviewed by their official Chinese Fansite, where they discussed their feelings for China and their Chinese fans, sharing insights into their music creation process and their lives.
