doing it for 5 would make one land worth 743mana which might still be overkill to the server
I tried x=10 without copying the nyxbloom and it still crashed if that means anything.
Hey, when you are looping your dopplegang you can target the shrine to nyx. This will allow you to choose the untapped one and go again. And incase no one said about the Ossification, it failed because you didn't have a basic land.

So "that's" how your brain works. "Now" it all makes sense.
12:20 Regarding Doppelgang failing to make any Ossifications. Some people have already pointed out that Auras require a valid thing to be attached to in order to be put on the battlefield, and you did not have any basic lands. Auras also do not target what they are going to be attached to when put directly onto the battlefield.
What might not have been clear is that since the subtype Aura requires being attached to exist on the battlefield, they fail to even be created in the first place if there's nothing valid beforehand to be attached to. You did not create them and then they got destroyed, you just didn't create them at all. You would have also failed to make the Ossifications if you tried to copy a basic land at the same time, since the basic land isn't on the battlefield until after the tokens have been created, meaning there isn't one for you to enchant when you try to create the Auras (all the tokens are created at once, not in sequence, so you can't make a basic land token and then enchant it).
Mentioned this in another video too, but what's breaking the client is the combo of Nyxbloom and the mana fixing leyline. (Chromatic lantern also causes this, and world tree.) It makes the client freak out. If you want the big payouts without timeouts and scoops, fix your mana base rather than trying to use the super fixers. It'll work MUCH better.

If you try to create an Aura and there is nothing for it to enchant, you won't create the Aura at all. He would have also failed to create the Ossification if he tried to make a Basic Land at the same time, since there is nothing valid to enchant until after all the tokens have been created.
The same issue occurs with trying to put an aura card directly onto the battlefield. If there is nothing valid to enchant, it will be left in the zone it was in previously.

i was doing that often with the Mystic Reflection + Phylath + Righteous Valkyrie
doing that i was creating X Righteous Valkyrie per each land i had.... and each Righteous Valkyrie increase the stats of other Righteous Valkyrie that means exponentially gain more life :D pretty fun
One thing I've learned when playing Dopplegang decks - NEVER copy your Nyxbloom. This causes the client to crash almost every time. It can't figure out how to make a land tap for 24 billion mana.
"Righteous Valkyrie" instead of "Rhox Faithmender"= more life, many big flying Angels. (and it's only 3 manas)
Righteous Valkyrie would be significantly less life, as it won't exponentially increase the life from Sanguine Sacrament.

Valkyrie is NOTHING compared to rhox faithmender stacking. The client max positive is like 1.6 billion. I have reached it. Try popping revenge, and copying it with 12 faithmender in play. You have to use a no loss condition scenario to survive after the client turns health negative, because it went too far positive.
Do you also like to think wizards have some special team assigned to monitor the dark lord, and then someone goes running to the boss and they are like "what jank is he playing now?"
I believe the Nyxbloom are crashing the server, because you have to recalculate all your manas to be producing 3x times *how much Nyxbloom you have*
each land possible to producing more than thousand manas
not 3 times the number of Nyxbloom, 3 to the *power* of Nyxbloom
These decks are Chris decks and I love them
I wish they'd fix the BO1 timeless queue. It is using the play specifications for matchmaking and not giving a truly randomized opponent.

I did this with angel enforcer, righteous valkyrie, a panharmonicon, helm of the host and if you gain too much life you start going into the negatives and you can randomly lose.
Remember that you can't have more than 250 tokens, so probably you can't create half of it at the same time.

these server limits are really a bit disappointing. how come it's not suitable for the cards they designed themselves?
servers are designed for RDW decks where board states are small and games take 5-10 minutes to finish

Leylines are so fair and balanced that Wizards made the worst one ever without bothering to playtest it at all. Obviously. Turn zero wins make perfect sense.
My favourite part of leyline design is...
"Hey, this thing is worth 4 mana. Therefore it should be as powerful as a 4 mana enchantment. Also you can play it for free on turn 0"

if you include the doubling from the spell itself its X*2^(menders+1). which is not even *that* much. with 11 menders and X=45 (as in title), it should be around 200k, although i guess a 16 bit integer cant handle that.
You should try a similar combo with Doppelgang + Devilsh Valet. Villainous Wealth also works.
Maybe you can find a way to use Doppelgang to put 1000 counters on Millennium Calendar in turn 2.

yes. if u did click it right to copy ossification, you need a basic land to attach it to. Only a plains or island or ... basic land. If u have no land like that, it has no target.

Ossification targets a basic land which is not the same as a basic land type.
Before watching I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and say that the client can't handle it because you're way over the limit of most software's ability to count which usually tops off at somewhere over 2 billion.
Just realizing the life is being repeatedly doubled and not 45 to the power of 11. That changes the math so I guess we'll see

honestly, i am kinda wondering how this is coded that it crashes with stuff like that.
i mean, multiplying by 2 a few times shouldnt be difficult for any program. there must be some weird spaghetti code going on that causes the game to iterate through all permanents after each multiplication or something.
I think it is actually the auto mana selection that causes the issue. Every time he hovers over a card in his hand it tries to calculate which lands it should tap and every land producing 1*3^8 is well... alot of calculations to do when you have 20+ lands.
Probably because it's not simply multiplying by 2 a few times. This setup doesn't exist in a vacuum. MTG is full of all sorts of weird interactions, so the game has to account for all of that. And in order to do that, it can't just simply be like "well there's 7 of these so just multiply it by 2 to the power of 7". It has to be built to handle interactions in between.
It does take shortcuts sometimes, but that's only when there's absolutely zero possible interaction. Which is why when you attack with 100 tokens, they all attack really fast, but when the player has protection, they all attack really slow.
The doubling mana, doubling life, etc, is counting as "interaction", so it has to do things the long way.
In the first game 90 × 2¹¹ = 184,320. That doesn't break the servers. Not even remotely.

You shouldn’t do more than 3 for X when targeting Nyxbloom with Dopplegang. That’s what is crashing the game.

The problem isn't that you copied too many things in game 2, it popped up a message asking which Legendary to keep. The game was waiting for you to resolve the Legendary rule.
And a TH-camr bug the game with maximum life of the game is 32 bits is 20×2 40 80 160 etc 32 time is 64 is the same 64 time
