8:34 just to let you know, you have to manually change the OSD for every single mode (race, quali, time trial etc) If you look at the bottom left, you will see you can change it. Hope this helps :)
f1 23 feels SO good on controller, i cant tell you how many spins, snaps, & crashes ive corrected, let alone the feeling of just absolute control of the car, this is gonna be a good year. Edit: the horrible deadzone in the middle of steering (left lock to right lock) is also finally gone!
great news on the handling. Now let's hope they don't introduce a patch in that messes it all up, like they did with the '22 handling which was actually OK to begin with, then patched away. I remember them doing the same on '16 as well.

This game is soooo much fun reminds me of the older ones when you can have fun races. Still need to find 2seconds to be up with the best but I don’t use assists and still feel like I’m finding time it’s just a grind
Not just the contact model, the damage as well. Feels like I am driving on reduced damage mode. Even if someone collides, you have more control and it doesn't feel like they are pushing you out the traack
I play with a controller and I can definitely tell that they have improved the game and it does not feel laggy like 22, but there are still a few things they could change/fix
Apart from that you can use Rearlocking to a pace advantage at some corners this game is insane. Tried to beat your Bahrain time and drifted my way to P1 on playstation atm

hi, great vid thx. i have a DD1 and my FFB was set to 65. i found this a bit too much for F1 23, so i tuned it down a little. it was a small bit too sensitive for the on track effects.

Because I do some random testing trying how it works or what the different settings affects are. Maybe because you have fanatec as well, you can help me. I have a csl elite esports v2 btw. Have a nice experience for now on this game and we will meet you in the future Where the standard problems will come. I think that the braking zones became different Because of the 55 or 56 and we simply didn't have the same brakepower due to that.🤷🏼

OK I'm no alien and I'm well off the pace compared to you. That said I really enjoyed the twitchiness of F1 22, meaning that F1 23 just feels a bit dead to me. It's like F1 22 with all assists enabled. I'm enjoying it, but I'm trying to find a setup that's a bit more lively and less understeery.

I tried that but it still didn't work for time trial. For time trial I was getting the supercars hud to adjust. Maybe that's where the problem is.

That’s the issue he’s talking about. When you are in race, quali, or practice, the changes work. The time trial tab doesn’t work.

I feel like they’ve done a lot of positive things. The game feels more realistic and like a sim rather than arcade. Overall a fun first day for me
I also feel there’s a bigger skill gap between assists and no assist which was needed

If I wanted to race online it took 20 min to do so. The ranked was basically non existence and the grip was horrendous on 22
