- Light Island is available to purchase for 1,000,000 Coins Coins after unlocking Fire Haven. It is a Magical Island, featuring Magical Monsters and manifesting the Light Element. It was added to the game on September 30th, 2020 during Version 3.0.1.
My Singing Monsters is a 2012 video game franchise developed by Big Blue Bubble and published by Canada Media Fund. The first game of the series was released on September 4, 2012 for Apple iOS. Ports of the game for other touchscreen smartphone operating systems were later released, including versions for Android, Amazon Kindle Fire tablet, Barnes & Noble Nook, and Steam. The game was also released in the portable console PlayStation Vita. Since its release, My Singing Monsters has grown into a multimedia franchise, with a prequel, several spin-off games, books, live events and series, and a board game. On May 12, 2021, Big Blue Bubble announced that the series would be releasing its first console title, My Singing Monsters: Playground, on November 9, 2021.

I’m so glad Yelmut got a re-record rather than just pitch-shifting the original track, sounds so much better than they did on Amber Island!
I’m a bit curious. Did they get the original voice actor for yelmut back or is he still gone because I heard that he left big blue bubble?

@@oliwer6700 In fact, all Magical Islands were intended to be Fire Islands before they decided to go a different route. Bone Island would have been a Flum Ox island, and Faerie Island would have been a Krillby island. That’s why they were added in Fire Expansion.

The Best Part about the Fire Expansion Update is just how much more expressive the monsters are, like Drummidary jumping
I saw these 3 picks, and I immediately thought Yelmut was going to be too much, but no. It's probably my favorite monster on the island now! It's funny how he can be on the loudest island (cave) and the quietest.

Honestly, a fire quad islands would be nice. Stretching magical islands like this, trying to fit fire quads and quints in there is a cheap solution.

I've been playing this game since it first came out. And this island was the first and only island to actually give me chills. I am absolutely in love with it.

I absolutely loved light island, and now that YELMUT my favourite monster is on it it’s even better. I especially fell in love with drummidary because he adds more beat to it which is something that lacks in light island. But I still think the island is now perfect as it is.

I’ve always been an avid defender of light island, not the best island, but still good, but this update really pushes it into greatness! Tbh my only complaint now is is that I wish we had a section or two where kayna cuts out to let the instrumentalists have a moment, cuz Imo their the best part of the song. I was thinking that it could go in yelmuts part, and at the end with sooza.

i have always been an avid critic of light island, this update has pushed it up to average for me (average is good)
@@k90v85 yeah I can see that. It does have problems (being a bit repetitive for its length, and Kayna being overpowering for a lot of the song), but it does have its strengths (really good instrumentalists and buildup). My biggest issue with it is that it doesn’t use these strengths to its fullest potential, favoring to have the vocalists be the focus when it’s the weakest part of the song.
Adding yelmut Drumdary and tiawa to the island was such a good idea.
Why does this sound a new island like where you are walking through a jungle and see beautiful stuff and animals, truly one of the best additions in msm.
For me, this is the definitive light island because you (somehow) made every single monster is hearable

it's amazing how much better these three make the song! they break up so much of the monotony in monsters that play the same sections with the same melodies

I always thought light island was the weakest island of the magicals, and one of the weaker islands total, but now with 3 incredible monsters, and 2 of my favorite monsters in the franchise added, plus the improvement to the song, i have to say this is now the best magical island, and a top in the game. can’t wait for the rares and epics
