True, just because you're in agreement with your mate, doesn't negate adultery.

I was healed instantly from a rotator cuff problem twice in opposite arms, along with the stinging nerve sheeth pain. Then I got one and didn't get healed. I searched the internet and found exercises to overcome frozen shoulder and it works. Praise God I'm healed!

We all make mistakes especially ones from the heart; sometimes it’s hard to distinguish if was notions of heart, or from selfish ambition; we need to take heed of our relationships; oh Jesus help us in these times such as this

The Bible warns us about marking and avoiding false teachers. Would Roberts Liardon be able to name three false teachers that we should be wise to stay clear of?

What do you see about passing a ministry to family members?

What a wonderful safe guard for preachers to be able to call on their wives, just in case they are sexually tempted! Singles have to live with this stuff every day of their lives with no nanny wife to look after them.

I love Roberts Liardon but I must disagree with what he said at the end that “preachers commit adultery because they don’t go home soon enough” as though they were preaching and serving too long. That’s just not true or possible. In order for anyone, especially a famous person in ministry to commit adultery, they would have to go out of their way completely. It would take time, planning, lies and effort. It would be logistically easier for them to just go home. So this idea that they were just working too hard is absolutely ridiculous. I usually agree with Mr. Liardon so perhaps he misspoke here or I didn’t understand him fully but I would choose your words carefully when speaking about adultery. There is absolutely no excuse for it. Many men (especially famous ones) also tend to struggle with ego, self control, pride, control issues and thinking they are better than women. Talk about those issues. And that Oral Roberts story sounds very strange and unusual to me. That is great he resisted temptation but the fact he experienced it to that degree and that often sounds like he had an issue he didn’t address both within himself and possibly in his marriage. I would hope God would keep me from marrying anyone with that level of weakness in that area no matter what anointing they could have!

Hi Robert. First of all let me say I think you are a good man and I am grateful for your books but I think you and many others get one thing quite wrong.
That is that we are to love our neighbours and our enemies. That we are to be at peace with all men.
Jesus is man of of love and peace as is the Father.
We are to forgive and turn the other cheek.
God's chosen, peculiar servants are sheep.
Any violence or endorsement of violence is against God's will.
When the apostles said shall we command fire to come down from heaven Jesus said that is not my Spirit.
He said, he that lives by the sword will die by the sword. He said do not kill.
He said vengeance is the Lord's.
He said we are hypocrites if we judge. Jesus is the judge.
So I believe your sentiment in respect of John Knox is wrong. I believe John Knox went against God's will whenever he endorsed, encouraged and engaged in violence of any sort.
John Knox would have achieved peace if he had been a man of peace and a man of God.
He seems to have justified this by the Old Testament but obviously we are not in the rules of the Old Testament.
Do we not have faith in God? Do we not have faith in prayer?
Do we not think that God can judge individuals and nations as he judged Egypt?
He that feeds and gives breath to all flesh.
God does not need men to fight his battles.
God wants men to be humble, holy and righteous not to fight physically.
In condoning and partaking in violence we are bringing judgment upon ourselves.
Conversely I believe there was less violence in England because the saints were non violent, like John Wycliff, William Tyndale and Hugh Latimer.
