The reason that there are hundreds of dog breeds is because of preference. As human beings we all tend to gravitate owning what we prefer, from color of dog, coat of dog, and breed of dog . It often just comes down to a preference. Preference is great when it comes to choosing a dog as an owner. After all it’s your decision and the dog is going to be living in your home under your roof and the only person that needs to be happy is you and your family. Preference can be the rule and the deciding factor in which dog you bring into your family nucleus.
You kept it 100, after going to a few shows I noticed that the fawn colored dogs are a big favorite.
Back in the pit days fawns were the desired trait due to the originality of the breed nice to see them work through to the bully also

Man hit the nail on the head.. need to touch base on head size and get judges to be on the same page along with muzzle lengths, supper big cheeks == breathing problems just as short muzzle
My preference in bullies is for open, round nostrils. #1 thing I can't take is a dog with pinched nostrils.

Liked. Favorited. Watching it again. I was thinking the same thing when I went to a American Bully show on my spring break. The judge picked a dog in the top 3 with a wide front and narrow rear, the dog had to gallop everywhere it was so disproportionate. And there were many better looking dogs in the ring! I think that he just chose that dog because he liked wide fronts or that he liked trindles or both. The show was a bit disappointing. But I'll probably go to another ABKC show just so I don't have the bad taste in my mouth forever. I think if I do professionally associate myself with the ABKC during my adult life, I'll probably be a judge. Like this video stated judges are one of the main people that shape a breed like the American Bully, which is noticeably varies between each dog.

The purpose of a dog show is to choose the best dog that represents the standard of that breed. Not future breeding stock.

Absolutely, this entire judging system based on any individual being biased towards his or her preferences and screwing the dog is bad.
Where are these types of bullys, all I see these days are really fat and extreme..not the types I'm looking for..

PERSONALLY I think breeding those short nose bullies is like breeding midgets its not fair to the dog health wise and not natural........midgets have no say in how there born but we on purpose breed these kinds of dogs and tome if you breed these dogs you really don't care about animals just about your self
Classic and XL’s are the only functional type. Standard types have short legs so they’re a no go. The others look horrible in my opinion and look to be ready to die lol

so ur a dog trainer that doesn't make u a vet bc u train dogs doesn't mean u know shit about them in all aspects I'm going to school for personal protection work with k9s but I'm not trying to give vet advise oh except for the fact that my brother in law has breed them for the last 5 years bad breading is the cause of health problems not the breed so stop talk please just bc u train dog don't mean shit he'll every time I go to buy dog food the girl at the store try to tell me what is best and what she knows is vet safe but in real life she's a sales person nor a vet.
0:15 looks more like a pug or french bulldog...unhealthy and they dont look the same some is more like bulldog some like pug some like pit ... just stop crossbreeding cuz of money!
