One thing I really appreciate about your videos Ollie is that you are very inclusive, to me that makes you a great spokesperson for the fishing industry. Oh, it doesn't hurt that you formulate your thoughts very well.
Appreciate that sir! Just trying not to suck 🤣
Hey man, digging the new videos. Iirc the first fish looks like a sunset rockfish. They look like verms but are genetically different.
Yup you're right, that was probably a Sunset Rockfish!
AS A DIAWA GUY I ALWAYS LOOKED AT THIS REEL AS A LEXA KNOCKOFF BUT.......... I HAVE TO ADMIT , THEY ARE SOLID AND THEY HOLD UP .
do you think the reel could potentially work for musky? and in your opinion how long would this reel last?
Do you do trips out of Dana point as well or only long Beach?
Yes we also run out of Dana depending on what the target area/species are. One of the benefits of having a trailer.
What a great video! How do those reels compare to the quality of the Lexa 400?
Glad you enjoyed the video! We fish both those models and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to grab the Piscifun models. That's the truth!
Technically the alijoz 400 is made in the same factory as the Daiwa Lexa, even has some Daiwa lexa in it, so I call it the poor man's lexa
I just went out on Saturday and we did pretty good they Taste delicious in Agua chile
That's a great idea! Going to have to to make that

Oliver, what jig on that PB red? Thanks!
We were fishing @oceanslegacy slow pitch jigs, 160 then 260 grams
Thank you! So cool when a Big Red eats the slow pitch…just like a Bluefin eating a knife jig on the sink!
What’s the jigging thin braid do u use
This was Nomad Ammonite 39lb
Great video Oliver! Are those extra fuel cans on the deck? How far you running bro?
Yes, they're from my buddy Jason Hunsaker. They allow us to run much much further if needed. We've done 250 miles in the Pathfinder with them.
will this work on a party boat?
1000%
Are you in San Diego Area ?
Long Beach sir.
Chilis are one of my favorite, has a very fluffy texture, very mild. Also, extra fuel, how far did you go lol
Chilis are great! Haha we sent it!
What area do you fish in? That’s pretty bad ass shit
All over SoCal brother, having a blast out here!
