This is such a comforting voice to hear before going to bed and during the many times I awake at night. Also, I heard the mysterious black cat meowing. I'm inclined to believe it showed up with purpose in your home. It might be protecting you. A similar thing happened to me with a black cat.. I thought it is a bad omen and I kicked it out. Bad things happened after that. It was a very tough time that took years to remedy. I'm still suffering some of the consequences of those bad years. I would treat the cat good.
@timefoolery yeah, but here's the problem. You had to ring in people to get them up in the apartment I was living in back then. I am not a person who leaves the door open or unlocked (at any time of the day or night) How does a cat get in a small apartment under these circumstances? I am a person who operates with extreme awareness of my surroundings, as a side effect of surviving wars. It is not possible to snuck in with me not noticing. No way. I woke up with it in my bed, and I had another cat who was very protective of me. He didn't react. That night I had a dream of the devil. He was an old man who seemed very loyal to me. I was scared, and I put the cat out. Back then I didn't believe in the power of Jesus, Ark Angel Michael, and prayer, but something inside of me got very spooked.

Yeah, black cats are actually good luck in my experience. They’re definitely the sweetest, most loving cats. 🐈⬛

Black cats have the best temperaments. I work in an animal shelter. Unfortunately they're the last to be adopted.
