I was listening to this Paul McCartney clip... John was walking home one night -- didn't have his glasses on. He came back to studio the next day, and said that "these people were in their yard all night long, playing cards or something". Paul explained to John that it (the lawn figures) was a Christmas, "Nativity Scene". 🤣

He looked best in 1968...long hair but clean shaven with the original Windsor glasses.
