- In this video I show you how to build an AI Voice Agent specifically tailored for service based businesses.
This tutorial doesn’t require any coding as it is built using Vapi and Make.com

Really fantastic tutorial, I’m glad I found your channel and look forward to watching more of your work
Thank you brother :)
Thats amazing what you put together. Interesting stuff ! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you brother :)
Nice walkthrough video 👏
Thank you brother :)
hi hugo, your videos are super cool, inspired me alot . Question.... in my account I cnanot see model gpt 4o cluster? do u know what could be ?
That’s very strange are you on the OpenAI provider
Great video! this is a really cool and powerful piece of software. What if I wanted to keep track of all my inbounds? I'm thinking a google sheet of the customer, their phone and email address, details of the quote and the scheduled meeting. Can vapi capture more information about the potential customer? and it looks like make have a google sheets integration
Of course you could build a more complex system like that.
Mate, thanks! What happens in excess silence, or if you forgot you wanted to add another item to pickup?
At the end of the video there is a demo with no cuts so that you can see the silences. You would be able to simply interrupt the agent and say “oh actually I also want “X” picked up” and it will deal with it just fine
Hi Hugo, Really great video. I'm having trouble figuring out how to get Vapi to pass the postal code parameter over to Make. It doesn't show as an item in the FunctionCall.
Hugo, Actually, I figured it out. I needed to add properties to the function. This is so cool. Keep making great stuff like this, please.
Glad you figured it out man and thank you
I've been keeping an eye out for videos like these, i have an agency specifically for electricians.
I'm curious how many people realize it's ai, do they care? Typical Conversion rate?
Pretty good though.
Conversion rate is such a difficult question to answer as this depends on inbound or outbound whether or not the clients offer is good etc… The “AI” side of it I would judge yourself whether it sounds like AI for you and would you care
Great video! Only one thing, Maybe I missed something, but if you provide only the postcode, how do you gather the exact address? Cheers!
Well the full address is auto done by the google maps api however if you mean specific address that could be asked for via text say on the day of the quote.
It’s worth bearing in mind that a postcode provides different data depending on your country. For example, in some countries a postcode might cover hundreds of kilometres sq, but in England, a postcode is typically a portion of a single street, so you can most often identify a single property with a house/building number and postcode such as 37, PR1 8XX (that’s a fake postcode BTW); you can look up the postcode and property number and know the exact address.
@@Innesb That is a really good point. Since I live in England, I could use postcodes as they cover small areas. For others, the agent should request the full address.
@@Innesb good point. In Sweden it’s usually an area so we need the full address, but yeah I get why he asked for the postcode only :) thanks for the clarification to both!
whats your primary outreach strategy for selling AI Infrastructure to businesses?
I have an SMMA at the moment for mortgage brokers and want to pivot to selling ai.
also where can I reach out to you on social media?
I get most my leads inbound
Would it be possible to include a choice question at the beginning? Like "do you need service A or service B at your location?"
Of course
@@HugoPodw how? Do you know a tutorial regarding this?
@@pushingpandas6479 You simply just prompt the AI Agent to ask the question
@@HugoPodw but how to split the flow regarding the answer.
What software are you using to map things out?
Figma's "Jigjam". www.figma.com/figjam/
How do you deal with a question like 'look, i just wanna know how much...'? From an aggressive caller reluctant to give much detail..
Well we could test the agent to see the response and then if it isn’t up to standard simply prompt it with something like “if the prospect is aggressive about trying to find out the price. Calmly say “I understand your frustration, in order to provide the best quote for you we need to see the items in person”” Something like this would help the agent respond well to angry prospects
i thought when i watched the beginning of the video "wait why does this call center sound so robotic? are call centers already using technology he is about to create?" then i watched this video and was disappointed. because i thought the agent would call other people so i wouldnt have to wait 10 years to get a doctors appointment
I genuinely have no idea what you mean in this comment?
No one knows what he means even them @@HugoPodw
