As a father with a daughter I think the exact same things when I watch these videos with the young kids, he’s very uplifting in a genre of music that is known for the opposite. He’s also doing what he does without using guns, sex, drugs, killing, robbing etc, he literally handicaps himself out of the gate by limiting his topics, and he’s still able to expand to a higher level without it.

I'm on my 40's and the problems with battle rap is not freestyle it's more of written raps and bars and jokes. That is all to it. Harry mack is more of a real freestyle with quick witts, cadence, wordplay which is very refreshing to hear and for a real battle freestyler knows the truth that this man is very very intelligent with a combination of smart and clever word that he use. Harry mack might one of the greatest freestyler.

I also prefer 52.1 (this one reminds me of the 1.1 frees, it has the same Wow effect) and 52.3 (which are 2 of the most accomplished frees HM has ever spit) over 52.2. They're more accomplished, they have more density, more structure, they're more complex and creative. 52.2 is explosive, very technical, energized and reactive, already from another planet, course. But we're comparing all Van Gogh paintings right here 😁 and they're also the result of different words, beats, guests and their reactions, so the comparison is always delicate and unfair by definition.

I imagine Harry Mack getting a head injury that creates a split personality called Hangry Merk, who would be the opposite of his normal vibe. H. Merk would show up to battles and destroy MCs with the dirtiest meanest rhymes but then on Monday he'd switch back and do his inspiring positive stuff with Omegle and Guerrilla Bars. If he went full Andy Kaufman it would be amazing.
Also when he does the long streams over legendary songs you will often see him taking live suggestions turning them into free styles while maintaining the original cadences and flows from the artist who first wrapped over it Your hip hop knowledge surpasses mine so I’d be interested to see you break down some shit like that.
