I've got a 2014 same and I've straight piped it with a Volant cold air intake backed with the 5 speed manual and I'm constantly getting asked to race and what's under the hood. It's fun and loud. Nice to know I'm not alone with it.
Take the intake cover off it gives it a deeper growl. That's what I did with mine and after 3k it sounds really nice getting mine straight piped tomorrow

@@marvinesperidez6237 1 muffler and a mid resonator i thought it was a muffler but its a resonator i got rid of the muffler and resonator. remade 2.25inch piping from the cat all the way to a dual tip muffler nice deep tone no raspy tin noise and it yes it back fires
@@ParryCustoms yeah I know im only looking for a reliable daily that I'd like to modify visually only. I know the 2.0 is a very reliable engine and easy to work on if anything does go wrong. And plus VAG or die lmao
Hey man I just bought a 14 2.0 yesterday , I wanna make er loud but I really don’t want it to sound like shit , was it just the muffler and resonator you took off and replaced with piping ?

Hey i got a question, how is your car identified as in Auto Zone? I recently imported a Seat Córdoba to the Usa and that car isnt available in the usa but whenever i need a part, how should i identify as? Has the same engine as yours atleast
@@inspectorjavert5563 sold it a year after making this video, it held up well, just way too slow for my liking, ended up getting a 13’ Sierra with the 5.3, now I have a eco diesel… wish me luck lol. I miss selling this car every day, really good on fuel and handled extremely well, if I kept it and knew as much as I do now I would’ve engine swapped it with a 1.8 or a 1.9
@@ParryCustoms yea man i bought a 2019 jetta with the 1.4 about a year ago and i love the mileage. the only thing that worries me is the turbo and the potential for carbon buildup in the engine. Those old non-turbo 2.0 and 2.5 vw engines were bulletproof. hopefully that ecodiesel will give you what you want.
@@inspectorjavert5563 I plan on doing a tune and egr and dpf delete on the eco as soon as the funds are available, the trucks don’t have a good reputation with their emissions equipment

Me and my friend straight piped his 2013 Jetta and made a side exit exhaust, it doesn't sound that bad in person.

Yeah removed muffler and resonator, you can do just the rear muffler for a bit of noise but the full straight sounded pretty good, raspy

You won’t get codes for striaght piping only downpipes bc of where the o2 sensors are placed.
