I been playing the "air bass" for 30 years lol, But my wife got my my first bass for Xmas this year, Music theory looked scary to someone that just wants to learn to play but you made it less scary and will give it a try following you, Thanks
Scott's bass lessons are ok'ish, but, these are simply fantastic! .... no waffle straight in, all the golden nuggets, the game changers, the major, dominant points with brevity all condensed, years of experience shared with minor faff factor 😎 subscribed👍
There are many videos on music theory in you channels playlist so iam confused which one to go with as I want to see them in a technical order..... Pls help
Such is the nature of TH-cam that there isn't really a strict order to these videos. Just scroll through and watch one on something that represents a gap in your knowledge. I have a theory course coming out early next year. That will be very structured and linear.
@@OnlineBassCourses Thanks Dan, I appreciate the reply. To be honest I often get stuck with practicing because I don’t really know what to practice. I enjoy learning songs and I can play scales in all keys pretty easily, but it doesn’t feel like it’s coming together to make tangible progress. I feel a bit like a human jukebox! Sorry if this is isn’t particularly coherent, but I would be very grateful if you could offer some advice
@@hakeemahmadjamal7403 I’ll be doing more lessons on this question soon actually but this post should help: onlinebasscourses.com/lessons/1st-things-to-learn-on-bass/ Also, I have a comprehensive course (paid) that would give you at least a year’s worth of solid stuff to practice: onlinebasscourses.com/frombeginnertobassist. I also have free practice lessons you can check out on my site or here on TH-cam. Once you get a game plan together and figure out the important things to learn, you won’t look back!

Don’t worry, it is scary at first! But, with a little understanding, it becomes life changing as you begin to use it to create. Keep it up…
This is probably the most helpful bass channel I’ve found since I started in February last year, so thank you so much hope you’re well
Thanks very much, Jeremy. I’m well thanks - hope you are too. 👍🙏

Great lesson Dan, definitely a keeper. I’m going to have to watch this a few times.
Thanks. There's a lot in there. I recommend clicking the link to the blog post which takes you to the related lessons.

What bass strings did you wear my friend on these bass?
Elites Players 45-105.
The sad thing is I know all these terms but I still suck
Don’t worry. Knowing them is a good step but using them is even better. Keep practising and you won’t suck!
