Did I hear gunshots in Nicaragua?!

I went on a day trip to Granada - a beautiful colonial city in Nicaragua with a lot of beautiful architecture. Despite the clickbait title, this city is extremely safe and I wish I had more time to spend there. I also visited some restaurants in the capital Managua and tried local food. Yep... Went bankrupt in Canada some 15-20 years ago as well as Dunkin Donuts and low and behold, when i arrived in Guatemala city, in 2008, they were thriving!

Wow okay...Dunkin is actually very popular in the US..I know Tim Hortons has a stronghold in Canada but I haven't been there in ages haha

Where did you get your cacao drink? At the Museum?
If you are still there, in Nicaragua, be careful... Most restaurants will charge you full price...for their 'native ' chocolate drinks... Unfirtunately... They use a Hershey chocolate sauce...

I am actually back home now but my local friend took me to some authentic restaurants....the "cacao" drink was actually a coffee drink haha...I did have cacao drinks but not at the museum but at some local spots in Managua
