    I like how you reply every comment with a thoughtful reply. People asking for the best iem in a specific budget when it hardly matters. Just go with a nice iem with your preferred sound signature.

      I know what you're saying. There's a lot of obsession about people wanting the "BEST". I dont think it should be looked at that way. I've not really heard any bad IEMs. They're all great and have slightly different presentations and tunings. It's a matter of preference, really.

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  ปีที่แล้ว

      They 560 offers a very different experience compared to these. These are more entry-level IEMs, but, having said that, they've narrowed the gap down quite a bit between higher end gear and entry-level stuff. It's worthwhile trying them out just to see what your take is on them. I'd love to know your notes between these and your 560.

      From what I remember the KZ ZS10Pro to be, I'd pick them over the Salnotes Zero. I remember them having better imagine and better defined bass, treble wasn't brittle. Feel free to give my indepth review on it a look.

    • @extirpatebabel
      @extirpatebabel ปีที่แล้ว

      From my comparison experience, to put it in simple words, the KZs is more exciting and the 7hz are more on the neutral or analytical side. Based on your preferences the KZs definitely seem to be the right fit for you. And not that I am taking away anything from the 7hz, because they are worth every penny, it seems less preferable for your personal taste of sound signature that you have described.

      The problem lies in the compression of the file. It's unable to give you tightness and detail because of a loss of a lot of data. I've been trying to find a Hi-Res FLAC version of it, but I haven't had any luck just yet. If you listen to choral or orchestral music, you'll notice this distortion with compressed variants of recordings.

If you get the 3.5mm termination, you'll be able to connect these to various DACs if you decide to buy some in the future, that will benefit you in the long run.

      Hi Dec, that's not a peculiar request at all. Of the few I've tested I like the JBL 230NC, the Nothing Ear 1 and the LG FP5 the most when it comes to their sound. All these earphones do work in mono mode for calls or music and may have a very slight reduction in call quality when being used in mono.
      I did to a call quality comparison between them in the link provided.

      I haven't tested the USB C variant but usually it locks you into that specific sound. Using different DAC/Amps can alter the tonality of IEMs to a certain extent to I prefer using them instead of type C variants. But they make for a good one stop shop. • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It sounds to me like you're quite sensitive to higher frequencies. This makes things a bit difficult. I've come to like the Truthear Hola lately, but I think you'll need slightly muted highs. The Hola isn't bright, but I didn't find the 7Hz to be too bright as well. May I suggest you get the guys at HeadphoneZone on call or email to figure this out because they'd be in a better place to recommend such a specific set of IEMs to you.
      The other alternative is to down tune the highs with an EQ of course.
      Fit wise, I've found most of these to be the in ear styles which you have to cram in to your ear to a certain extent, except for the Hola. So much so that it doesn't feel like it sits well until you get used to it. It is a comfortable set to use and I think has a better build quality than the 7Hz.
      But again, I think since you're sensitive with highs, try and speak to the guys at HPZ for a little more clarity. I'm limited with what I've reviewed so far, where as they have access to IEMs they could possibly even listen to and tell you immediately.
      Sorry, I can't really be of any more help than this, but I hope you find a set that brings you happiness.

      What you're referring to might be the housing causing you discomfort, not the ear tips. I've experienced this with the Simgot EW200. Everyone's ears are very different in shape and size. Perhaps consider looking for a smaller set of IEMs. The best thing you can do is go for a headphone connect event and try out a whole lot of these IEMs before biting the bullet.

      I have the same issue with my phone so used the Shanling UA1 Pro. It connects to my phone via the USB C port and has a 3.5mm female port at the other end. It's got a good DAC / AMP in it. All the headphone zone reviews I did of those earphones were through that DAC/AMP. It's great sounding for the price. I spoke about it in Episode 9 of that series.

      @Rammothe 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is type- c to 3.5mm adaptor is enough with good earphones , R DAC is important, and one more doubt I use amazon price music and TH-cam mostly , my phone supports all sound codes but is prime music and TH-cam support that high quality codes ? If prime music and TH-cam not support what is the use of buying DAC THAT supports top quality codes ?

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      An adapter also will have its own DAC/AMP in it but it won't be as good as a dedicated quality one. If you're into listening to higher quality audio, it makes sense to consider getting a good DAC/AMP, but the platforms you're consuming audio from I think have a cap of about 320kbps, so it may not make sense to spend on a Shanling.

      It's literally just an adapter, so you'll be limiting yourself to only connecting to a USB C device. If you get the regular 3.5mm termination, you can always connect it to a proper DAC/Amp dongle in the future if you get one. With the USB C on the 7Hz, you'll only be getting a signal from your phones intern DAC/Amp, which is most likely going to be a bottle neck in data and quality in audio anyway.

      Battery life over two years depends on how much you use it and charge it. I find that slow charging these devices does give better longevity of their batteries.
      Colour preference is entirely upto you, it does not impact performance.
      I see that Siva has also answered your questions with a more detail.

      They Zero is a nice sounding set, I prefer it to the ZEX only because the ZEX sounded a bit piercing to my ear. The Zero is nicely tuned. One thing to keep in mind is you don't get a microphone on the Zero, so if your primary use is for gaming, you'll be minus a microphone with them.

      A little tip. Some folk tend to unbox, listen and decide they don't like a set of earphones. Avoid jumping to conclusions. Sit with them listen over a few days, listen to the music you've been listening to and been enjoying. You'll slowly start discovering newer nuances in the tracks you've been listening to for ages. Within a few days you'll start appreciating any set of earphones / headphones more than first impressions. Hope this helps you rediscover your music.

    Buddy, I bought the 7hz zero iem after watching a lot of reviews from Concept kart. However, I found them just average or like any other under 15 dollar headset that I have used.
    May be I got a duplicate product? Or did they reduce the quality after the initial hype? Or is it that they are sending good ones only to reviewers?

    • @sathyaki
      @sathyaki 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The main issue is that I have to set the volume high to get anything decent from them. I have never had to use any headsets at a volume higher than 20 percent (yes, I have sensitive ears). But, these sound rubbish at 20. My soundcore liberty 2 tws sound 2 times better at 10 percent volume. I was so hyper about this audiophile thing and I can't express my disappointment now. Wasted money plus some hours watching several reviews. Can't even send these back because of no return policy.

    • @PaulsPOV
      @PaulsPOV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      If you're coming to these from a set of TWS earphones they won't sound good on first impressions due to the colored nature of delivery the TWS have. You'll have to spend sometime listening to them since most audiophile earphones/headphones are tuned to give a truer, flatter response. These will shine with their detail and staging provided you give it a good source file. If you still don't like them after a week, they're obviously not for you. At the end of the day only you need to like your earphones, not any one else. Differences in opinions is obviously a factor here.
      I'm not sure about you having a genuine piece, I've never interacted with Concept kart, but what you're suggesting is a possibility.

    • @sathyaki
      @sathyaki 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PaulsPOV thanks for the detailed reply. I too am thinking about spending a week or so with these. Obviously I didn't expect any bass from these. But I was expecting a wider sound stage and more details.
