Ive searched for the flower and its meaning to try and figure out a bit about the lore of this au at midnight cause why not The flower seen in the video is called "Forget me not" (thank you op for using an exact reference and making it easier for us) Commonly, if you give someone this flower, it means you *truly love and respect* that person. It also represents *long lasting relationships* that not only can exist between lovers but also friends, keeping them in your thoughts and remembering that person forever. They are also *best suited as gifts in funerals* or in remembrance of a dead loved one. Looks like its all leading to Luz who may have died to an event, we literally saw her bleeding, but lets not skip to that immediately. Heres my summary to the theory: _Luz left the boiling isles and came back after a couple years_ During those years Amity joined the Emperors Coven. The Forget me not symbolizes either Luz's promise to Amity in returning to the isles, or a potential reference to a characters death (Luz) . Luz finally returns to the Boiling Isles. Hunter wants power for himself so he overthrown/killed Belos, making him our main antagonist to the plot. Amity is able to join Luz and the gang. Luz gets badly injured -pissing- deeply upsetting everyone off. Aaaaand it leaves off to that- looks like its left as an open book to reader's interpretation Now- questions are Who hurt Luz? was it Owl Beast Eda or Lilith? Hunter? maybe an uncontrolled Willow? In the second sequence we have Young Luz, Young Amity, Young Willow and Lilith- All the sequences pair with each other- it goes from Luz to Amity to Willow to a Clawthorne That scared me a tad bit cause comparing the first sequence to the last- The Forget me not would pair to Lilith making me think she died- but her owl beast form comes after so, it would make more sense that the flower just means Luz's promise to not forget. Amity still having her green hair when Luz comes back is important because Luz is a huge part to her growth as a character, so can see her later on with her purple hair representing her development. This animation is absolutely stunning, i love the subtle movements in each part, it makes it fit a lot with the music and give a kind of creepy vibe. i was looking into what people were saying in the comments and i noticed how the forget-me-nots were replacing willow if its still in the same order as before, and i felt my heart absolutely just drop with realisation that it could mean that willow could have died but then i noticed that luz is also probably dead which would explain amity crying. what im thinking is probably a bit off from the actual au, but i feel like its filled with lots of terror and trauma. i really hope that you sometime put a video or something out explaining the au, i really like the animation and lore behind it but i bet the actual au in words is like mind blowing and super interesting. but dont feel pressured ever to upload, take your time and work on something when you enjoy it. make sure to take breaks inbetween making videos, and have lots of food and water! ^^this goes for everyone out there, no matter if you have a youtube channel or not! remember to not overwork yourself!

The anxiety! 🤩💀 My favourite animation in this is the one of amity's cyan hair almost fully grown out waving in the wind eerily, as it shows the inevitable passage of time, the fact that we don't see amity's face is also kind of creepy, because it makes her seem more anonymus and unrelevant... This animation is absolutely stunning, i love the subtle movements in each part, it makes it fit a lot with the music and give a kind of creepy vibe. i was looking into what people were saying in the comments and i noticed how the forget-me-nots were replacing willow if its still in the same order as before, and i felt my heart absolutely just drop with realisation that it could mean that willow could have died but then i noticed that luz is also probably dead which would explain amity crying. what im thinking is probably a bit off from the actual au, but i feel like its filled with lots of terror and trauma. i really hope that you sometime put a video or something out explaining the au, i really like the animation and lore behind it but i bet the actual au in words is like mind blowing and super interesting.
but dont feel pressured ever to upload, take your time and work on something when you enjoy it. make sure to take breaks inbetween making videos, and have lots of food and water!
