Sir, according to me, Shylock is the victim of the whole play, not Antonio, and I have many logics to bear it out. So if I write for Shylock, in the ICSE , contrary to the common views, will I lose marks? I am totally confused regarding this.
Well, Antonio is not at all a kind man. He always looked down upon the jews and he was pretty harsh on Shylock. Plus, Shylock suffered a lot from the inhuman treatment meted out to him by the other Christians. So, in my opinion, Shylock just wanted to get justice by taking a pound of flesh from him. I don't get why he's treated as the typically "evil" person over here.

Sir is it necessary to know the person who is speaking the lines in each and every scene in mov ? . As in the reference if it is asked about it then it actually becomes difficult to answer any of sub questions if we don't know the first part itself. So, does the questions come this way ?
yes. Though sometimes they mention who has said these lines. But since there are many instances when many characters have said similar lines .. it is important to be able to identify where those lines were said.
