I think this is a space for nick to get out what he wants the world to know . A listening space for him to talk and us to listen. God bless him and I pray his heart is healed .

This is a great example of not entering into relationships/situations while you’re healing. Being in a fog and unconsciously making decisions has serious consequences.

Malcom X’s legacy, self discipline in its finest hour, along with commitment. Felt like he forgot to mention him, when Dr. King’s name was mentioned

Great episode! I enjoy watching how each man holds space for the other... If Nick only allowed Devon equitable talk time, it would have been great to hear his perspectives too.

Great conversation. A really great program that helps provide context and a good approach to our relationships and connections with our children (and our parents!) is called Circle of Security. It really opened my eyes to how I can effectively strengthen my bond and ensure a fruitful legacy with my child. One of the best pieces of information I took away is that there is ALWAYS an opportunity to fix what feels broken. It takes work, but relationships can be retrieved. If you’re a present and purposeful parent 70% of the time, you’ve left room to make up for that 30%. It’s not about being a perfect parent, it’s about persevering! Loved this conversation and really appreciate all the folks you have on the show, Nick!

I want to say great conversation but Nick tends do all the talking. I want an exchange, a dialogue between Nick & his guests. Nick seems to use his show as a release for him; which seems to be needed for him. Just balance it out.

He legit talked 7 mins straight before allowing his guest to speak. Smh.
Nick has A LOOOOT of healing to do. But it's gonna be hard to accomplish that healing if he ain't allowing the brother to get a word in edgewise. 🙄

Beautiful session❤ God's word says that ALL that's done in the world is temporary. 2Corinthians 4:18: the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes👀the pride of life. 1 John 2:15-17. ALL that receive Jesus as Lord become the children of God-John 1:12. Although our lives have unique paths, ALL believers of Jesus Christ are commanded to seek 1st, the Kingdom of God & Righteousness & EVERYTHING else will be added. Matt 6:33. For what does it profit a man to gain the world(& all that is in it) BUT lose his soul. It's my prayer that if anyone reads this, if haven't already, will receive Jesus as Lord & Savior: Romans 10:9 & pursue a personal relationship & start to experience His transformative power.👑😘💕🙏🏽

Real question does Nick Cannon have a positive relationship with his mother? I ask because the way he rambles in these shows makes me think his confusion is stronger then his understanding of self...I remember having conversations like this with my own son. Not that my son had children, but he had some of the same questions about the type of father he wanted to be...how he was supposed to accomplish his goals as a father and husband. One of the main question (its a two-parter) he would ask me was 1. what is his legacy going to be 2. how does he make the legacy. My son passed before he could realize his dreams, but I distinctly remember how his conversation changed as he began to understand himself more. If he does have a great relationship with his mom I think he might want to start having her on this couch (whether he makes it a show or not).

Saying that Tupac's words are more important than MLKs is RIDICULOUS.
Alot of younger adults my age dont know Tupac like that. I understand he was impactful to the culture but I cannot recite a single Tupac verse. Meanwhile I can quote several paragraphs of the I Have A Dream speech.
MLK has a whole day. A day that changed the way African Americans sing Happy Birthday ala Stevie Wonder.
    I hope he was trolling.
