Die Achterbahn von Hugo Haase (aus Hamburg?) war jedes Jahr auf dem Osterfeld in Goslar zum Schützenfest. Die fuhren auch den kleinen Trecker, ebenfalls die Rostbratwurst-Verkaeufer von Fichtelmann aus Braunschweig. Ich schätze Mal, dass die später nach und nach auf Sattelschlepper umstiegen. Eigentlich eine Zugmaschine, als es keine Sattelschlepper gab. Man hatte zwei Hänger und während man mit dem einen Hänger z.B. Kohlen auslieferte konnte der zweite Hänger beladen werden. Das war der Vorteil gegenüber einen normalen LKW. Also nicht für den Acker, sondern für die Straße. Meistens aber recht langsam, also für innerörtliche Transporte.

It's probably a pre-chamber diesel. They tend to have a much louder knocking sound than direct injected ones!
