I don't see too many classy AKA show anymore, but my Gammu Mu Sorors at AAMU did this! Loved the naming of the founders, the history spoken in the steps, and the classy exhibition while still stepping hard. Skeeeee Weeee!!!
Point of clarity , they were only duplicated once and that was by the akas who started delta. The other sororities were established on their own premises. Namely Zeta who was began with 5 women and their constitutional brothers the Sigmas.
No need for clarity. They are highlighting that being the first black sorority makes room for the other three to have a standard to refer to. It's exhibiting pride in being the original sorority founded by and for black women.

At least, that's what I saw personally and continue to see. It's also the only sorority legally bounded to a fraternity which means their actions directly impact each other...and they actually have a chant bragging about it. Chile please. lmao! The rest of D9 laughs at them for that. NONE of us even want to be constiutionally bound to another group. We set the standard indeed and still are doing so as you will see tomorrow (the inauguaration of VP Kamala Harris). So...whatever helps you sleep at night, you stick with THAT explanation. lol
