Michigan is a rumbling terrifying juggernaut. An engine of ferocity, horsepower and torque. This defense is now “ the Ann Arbor Sack exchange”…they would make Mark Gastineau proud.
One thing that makes me less anxious for Michigan is they have an NFL defensive coordinator and several dogs on defense. The offense is going to move the ball. Corum and JJ will find the end zone but that defense just needs to keep Washington point total as low as possible.
FANTASY FOOTBALL PUNISHMENT: I’m in a league with my boys from home. We started the league when we were 14 with the punishments being gross but last year we got really creative. I lost the league a year after winning (don’t worry boys we bounced back with a W this year). Loser of our league had to go solo to a WNBA game and sit in the nose bleeds while giving live updates on their Instagram every 5 minutes. The updates needed to include stats of the players, enthusiasm, and had to be entertaining. Where this gets interesting is we are from Rhode Island and the nearest WNBA team is the Connecticut Sun which play at Mohegan Sun Arena. I ended up convincing 3 of the other guys from the league to meet me up there after the game ended and the 4 of us ran out a shoot on Blackjack and all went home with at least double the money we came with. Absolute W of a league punishment.
The Florida State take was so on point. I understand the anger of the fan base. You thought you deserved to get in, but you didn't. Bama was the better team, but the fact that you're not angry at the players that quit and literally walked out on their teammates crazy! Just left them for dead, just left them to get ripped to pieces by Georgia. That's what is so wild in my opinion. No one acknowledges the amount of injuries to the starters for FSU towards the end of the season, they were playing towards the goal of playing in the natty but when they couldn't a lot of them just said fuck it why play through this injury and got surgery and couldn't play anyways mixed with transfer portal and a few draft pick opt outs the team had about 5 starters from the regular season still playing is the game. Just from the STARTING line up FSU lost 4 RBs, the entire secondary, the entire Dline except 1 edge, 2 LB, the entire wide receiver core, 2 TE, 2 Qb's, 3 OLine and about 15 more depth players in the transfer portal. Like why can't anyone just acknowledge that had an effect on a teams performance?
