In the hand where he caught a K on the river, it was 32K to call to win 175K, so he was getting 4-1 odds. He catches a K, a 6, or a Q 22.5% of the time. It wasn't a bad call based on the pot odds (and obviously Blom could have a weak 4, he pushed all in on the river with a weak trips hand in the last hand, so there's a small chance he's way ahead, but almost no chance he's much worse than a 3-1 underdog).
Nonsense. Galfond just outplayed him. Most of his calls were +ev. A few he was way behind but against someone who bluffs so much you simply have to make these calls and, yes, he got lucky. But even without those lucky hands he was way ahead.
Klate Wilson would never check in that spot? he did that exact move against Ivey in the second biggest pot ever played, 1.1M$, Isildur1 is capable of doing any kind of play you moron.
I respect Galfond's game, but there wasn't a ton of outplaying. It was a great call at 2:05 with the KHigh flush. Other than that, it was a lot of winning races and even sucking out a couple of times. Isi wasn't playing great, but he also was getting crushed every hand in the races.

+Tom Ford - Its Tilt play by Viktor and Galfond is happy to gamble by that point, where he is up by so much already. It suits Galfond long term to have a hand like this, as it keeps Viktor in a gambling mentality, over regaining a winning mentality.

isildur1 is much better at Omaha now than he was back then. He jumped to nosebleed Omaha games from NLHE with little experience like a true degen. Nerds like Hastings and Galfond merely took advantage of that.
1St hand he lost was practically a tom dwan bluff gone wrong which im sure has happened to dwan himself a few times. Isildur pulled off the bluff enough to make glafond think untill time was called and it was just unfortunate that he called as im sure he was contemplating on islildur having a fullhouse

1st hand OMG played the hand great, made a very good call on the river 2nd hand OMG got it in against Isi on the flop as a 97% favourite 3rd hand he had a 22% chance of winning when the money went in 4th hand OMG was 42% to win, not really that bad a beat for isi, nearly a coinflip 5th hand OMG had it on the turn 6th hand OMG was 62% fav before the flop

My only guess is that with the history between them, Isildur1 is probably bluffing a lot all the time, and OMGclayaiken has called him lightly at times. OMGClayAiken was SO lucky. He won TWO HUGE pots in which he should have lost. 85% of the time he loses those pots. He just got lucky.
