I watch your channel all the time- but Omg! I made a shawl using 5weight yarn Red Heart Gemstone that was in my stash. Just absolutely beautiful. Thank you Jennifer 😊 and I want to make the chicken. Lol😊
You know what I like about the patterns you make? They are so much fun! Some can take a bit longer to make but they are not boring. They catch your imagination and you feel free to run with it!! Hope you are having a wonderful day!
Got it . . . Rectanglish! And sans tail, bless you. I may just make the wings into partial sleeves like a big huge shrug. Like maybe flip the end of the wings back over So I can slip my arm in then. Also the added weightbulk will keep it wrapped over my forearm, if I want my forearms free. 'Cause, ya know, ya get busy, need yer hands free. Adaptive clothing is key.
Really like this project. Working on it now. Thank you for sharing and being a great teacher. I have done a couple of your shawls and can't wait to do more things with you.
O!M!G! (Valley girl reference intended😃) I have so many colors of yarn that will work for this. Can you imagine a Koigoo version?😯😍 See?! So many possibilities! Plus I just remembered some HL Authentic Hand Dyed Blend that I have been struggling to find a project for. Or! (Yes, too many exclamation points😂), sticking with the Lion Brand yarns, what about Summer Nights? It wouldn't make a winter item but it would be beautiful. Or dig out those remaining Mandala cakes? Plus any of the Ferris Wheel colors! I hope I can fit this project in right away🎉😊. 😅 Here's my start-itis again.😅
I had my Ferris wheel waiting for the video to post. Just finished first cake now on to the sides. Loving the amazing colours. I am using "Cherry on top" beautiful autumnal (Fall) colours.
Thanks for this! I had tried making it before and I couldn't get the straight part. So I gave up but now I can take that frogged yarn and make myself a beautiful wrap! Thanks soooo much!
I went and checked my stash and I have like 12 cakes of unused Ferris wheel so perfect to use my stash and I love a rectangle shawl! Thanks Jenn for all of your hard work this week ❤
Thank you I love your shawl I will be trying to make this ❤😊 I agree with no chains in between crochet three I don’t like Granny Square because of the chain threes but I do like the Granny Square if it doesn’t big spaces ❤I like solid patterns most of the time 😊🎉 I love your shawl
I used my Vintage Carousel for Jayda's hat, scarf and fingerless gloves. I know I have more, I just have to look. I love your shawl and want to make it. Thanks
Ok, I have to share..I'm watching you crocheting away and you said there was a "master debate" about chains between granny stitches. I swear I heard something TOTALLY different, backed it up and listened again. I was laughing so hard there were tears running down my legs 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am sick AND twisted!
I love how easy this pattern is, I’m always looking for those after making something with a ton of shaping. I don’t know that I have 3 cakes of Ferris wheel but know I have Mandala that I bought for a different project. Am tempted to see how that would turn out.
Jen, Kudos on always giving us the best tutorials. Your tutorial is so easy to follow. You explain and show how to do the work so well. I love this pattern and can't wait to try it. Thank You!!
Good morning Jennifer. So glad to have learned this share of a designs I've been wanting to try. Thank you. Looking forward to tomorrow. Yarn at the ready. ❤
Thank you Jennifer for thus pattern, but most of all for the guidelines, regarding triangle shawls vs rectangle shawls. Like you, I avoid making triangle shawls for the same reason you mention. For them to fit, they have to be HUGE. Again, thank you for the tip and suggestions. Hugs.
This is a beautifully unique design.🤩 Like it so much that I've decided to start this one right away so we are crocheting together today. I love doing the granny stitch, so this is very relaxing for me. It will clear my mind to go back the bumpkin and chicken 🌹🌹
Thank you love this shawls. I got to but yarn to do.i did order premier cotton yarn. It supported to come tomorrow oct.6.i love the Autumn sun rise sweater.God Bless
Thank you so much Jennifer, love this triangle rectangle shawl! Beautiful color way you chose gorgeous! I’m glad your not afraid to mix colors like that, beautiful! I’m doing this for a friend then I’m making myself one for evening sitting outside when it gets cooler ❤❤❤it! Have a happy 🧶 day! ❤️🤗🍁🎃🍂☠️👻
For a second I misheard you when you said “mass debate” while discussing whether or not to chain 1 between granny clusters. I’ll put myself in timeout now. 😮
This is so beautiful! I absolutely love it!🥰 I have all these colorways and others. As soon as I have some time, 🤷🏼♀️I'm definitely going to make it! Wishing you a beautiful blessed day!🙏🏻🤗💖🌈
As usual, another home run, Jen, thx!! I love this type of shawl because i think it stays in place better that the triangle shawls. I feel like I'm ALWAYS pulling them up because they're so heavy in the back. With this shape, the length goes to the sides and makes it longer and more wrappable! (It's that a word?😜) Looking forward to your masterpiece tomorrow! Loved the shrinkydink stitch marker, too. 🦄 I have a few cherished crafts my kids made me. They're both basically adults so it's nice to treasure those days! 🥰 Cu tomorrow!😊👍🧶
I am very much looking forward to making this shawl. I have the Ferris wheel yarn. I have been looking for a pattern that is not triangle in the back. Thank you
Love this, have made two of three I planned - with some slight modifications. (I can't help it. 😅) I'll send pics to your insta when I'm done. I used Red Hearts Unforgettable. I was able to snag some and have been waiting for the right project. Thank you.
My ma's old lady fix for the squeeky hook...run it against your scalp in your hair. The unicorn was loud because it was trying to cover the squeek. I'd you were to ass some kind of extra finishing border, what would you add?
I love this shawl, as I also love long straight sided shawls. I was wondering if this would work with Mandala String? I live in Florida and would use a lighter weight shawl more. I know you did something similar when tried the Mandala string and wanted to check.
The triangular shape for the back while being not a triangle shawl is a genius design! You go, girl!
Love this shawl I have made several. Thank you for showing us how to make it.
I love this easy design for a warm and comfy shawl.
I love that you found a way to lose the point! I like the crescent shape and this is something I could also love ❤️ thankful
Good morning Jen, I have Ferris wheel in my stash, yeah 😁. I am still on the Bumpkin but this is next.😊 Thanks for the tutorial. Enjoy your day. 😊
Hi Jennifer. Love this shawl!!! Thank you!!!☺️🧶

Love this shwal ( HOPEI spelled it correctly) . Haven't mastered the granny stitch YET. 😊😊❤
That turned out beautiful! It looks like it could have been one BIG cake of colorway!
I'd do the three different colorways on purpose! You're so creative and an excellent teacher. You're a breath of fresh air every day!
Thank you
Very pretty shawl. You are so creative. ❤❤❤
You know what I like about the patterns you make? They are so much fun! Some can take a bit longer to make but they are not boring. They catch your imagination and you feel free to run with it!! Hope you are having a wonderful day!
I'm making this with Premier Coffee Shop yarn since I didn't have any more left of the Ferris Wheel. I LOVE this pattern. Thanks bunches!

I love the Ferris Wheel yarn. It works up really well and surprisingly holds well to use.
Those colors are absolutely gorgeous
Good Idea 🎉I always thought how to get rid of that corner of triangle😅 Rectangularish works👍I want to make it❤
Brilliant, having the triangular design across the back but not a triangular shawl. Now I know what to do with my Ferris Wheel yarn
Got it . . . Rectanglish! And sans tail, bless you. I may just make the wings into partial sleeves like a big huge shrug. Like maybe flip the end of the wings back over So I can slip my arm in then. So excited to be getting my yarn. It's supposed to arrive Friday or Saturday. Yat! This is going to be so much fun to make.
