Not gonna lie I didn't think this game had an ending. It was so tedious to get through all the minigames I gave up after like 3 weeks of trying to make it through.
@@pokemonmanic3595 To be fair, the ClueFinders games were pretty formulaic... While The Learning Company did a good job with putting more spins on these formulas, there is still so much they can do...
Yeah, I only played about 2 of these games and even I was getting a little bored watching some of these playthroughs do the same activities over and over again.
thanks so much! Going through a nostalgia trip and currently playing the games I haven't as a kid, which includes all of them except 3rd and 4th grade 😅 But I'm awful at math and chemistry/sciency stuff so I needed help
Finally! I could never solve the chemical pipe cleanup games as a kid, and until now I still doubted I'd be able to do it. But now I'm proud to say I could beat a game made for 11 year-olds!
I think it's funny that none of the four chemicals in those pits are actually liquids at room temperature (ZnO and NaCl are solids, and SO3 and HCl are gases)
Were you aware there's a really loud audio glitch at 1:14:51 (which i wouldn't recommend clicking on the timecode to hear it, just there for reference >
3rd Grade: Let's go help out our mentor in South America 4th Grade: Let's go help out our mentor in Egypt. 5th Grade: Let's go help out our mentor in the Pacific Islands 6th Grade: Let's go to our weird neighbor's house and find a secret underground civilization of sapient plant creatures. What the hell, Learning Company?
*After signing in* Joni & Santiago: Whoa!!! Owen: What was that? Leslie: That's Joni & Santiago! Donga: It is them, Leslie! Something's wrong? LapTrap: Donga's right! We better go check! *Owen, Leslie, LapTrap, & Donga ran towards the shed as they found the Frisbee, but no Joni & Santiago* Leslie: There's the Frisbee! But where are Joni & Santiago? Donga: I dunno! But this is getting weirder by the second. LapTrap: You can say that again, Donga! I hate weirdness. Owen: Joni! Santiago! Are you guys ok! Where are you? Joni: We're in some kind of tunnel to be precise, but we don't know what place we're in. Santiago: In fact, we're in some kind of underground city. Donga: Underground city! Oh-no! You guys must have fallen into an empire. Owen & Leslie: Empire! Joni & Santiago: Empire! Donga: Yes! And it's home to those viney Plant People! I read about them in a book a few years ago. LapTrap: P-P-P-Plant people! What are they? Donga: They are a colony of plant-like characters that live underground & they were ruled by their plant queen. Oh-dear! We better get them out fast before they do. Owen: You mean we gotta go underground & save Joni & Santiago. Donga: I'm afraid so, Owen! Before those nasty plants do! I may be a cowardly dog, but when it comes to saving our 2 friends, no one messes with the Cluefinders! Santiago: You said it, Donga! And if you guys need help, you can call us on the red video phone so we could assist you. Leslie: Right! And we can use my backpack to store lots of items inside. Donga: Exactly! And don't forget! If you need more hints or getting stuck on something, click on my tail & I'll give you some info pronto. LapTrap: Oh-boy! Here we go again! Well if you need a break, let me know! Owen: So what are we waiting for? Let's go! Donga: You betcha! But first, we have to locate the entrance to the underground city. Let's look over there! Leslie, Owen, & LapTrap: Okay!
She doesn’t want Joni and Santiago to run off to the surface and leave them high and dry, so in order to do that, she took Joni hostage so that they’d have a reason to stay and help them out
I guess she drank the polluted water too. But she probably drank clean water while in her disguise. That might be why she keeps going from getting angry to pleading.

Yeah it really seems their budget got slashed because there was no reason to have the same four games repeated twice
That one with the chemicals was a nightmare to get through... I remember reducing the difficulty more than once on that one...
@@pokemonmanic3595 To be fair, the ClueFinders games were pretty formulaic... While The Learning Company did a good job with putting more spins on these formulas, there is still so much they can do...
I know the struggle.

I remember playing this when I was like in 3rd or 4th grade because my sister had it. It had such a dark and scary theme to it
The measuring cups game was by far one of my most favorite game scenes we have ever enjoyed when we were kids because math is our favorite subject!

No problem!
Yes finally a full walkthrough of this game
The voice of that professor plant guy is Christopher Lloyd.
No he isn't. That's Bill O'Neil.
Ms Rose must be related to Poison Ivy from Batman!🤣 Those 2 would have a field day! Cluefinders were some OGs!
yeah ms sounds just like poison ivy from batman cause they have a lot in common and were you a fan of comics to

I loved the 3rd grade game in the rain forest and 4th grade in Egypt!!
EGYPT went crazy
One of favorites!! Thank you!
"Feed me Seymour!" Little shop of horrors anyone?
Loved this game as a kid!!!
This brings so many memories! Thank u
Our pleasure!
The CLUE FINDERS! MY FAVE!
Ficus is a cool plant and he's a good friend
My copy had a Pokemon Pokerom promo CD-ROM game and was released in 2000
Publisher: Mattel Interactive
Developer: The Learning Company
I never finished this game and now I see how close I was and boy am I bummed.
Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm is looking great!
I think it's funny that none of the four chemicals in those pits are actually liquids at room temperature (ZnO and NaCl are solids, and SO3 and HCl are gases)
ZNO is Zinc Oxide
NaCl is Table Salt
SO3 is Sulfur Trioxide
And HCl is Hydrogen Chloride
Actually, HCl is hydrochloric acid.
HCl is called hydrochloric acid when it is in solution; it is called hydrogen chloride when it is a pure substance.

What the hell, Learning Company?
No wonder I failed after the three bridges! Even if I was older back then, science like this has never been my kind of skill!
This was such a hard game for me I hated it! I’m terrible at math and it was such a struggle when I was a kid.
Funny thing: I was able to whip through as a child, but when I tried to play this again? I was sitting going "HOW DID 5TH GRADE ME SOLVE THIS?!"
I missed this as a kid
The end with the cleaning the water was the toughest and I had to get my mom to help. Granted, I was maybe 7 when I played this game.
Thank you so much !!! This is incredible
You're very welcome!
The Young Pride Landers told me they'd symbolize children who play these Cluefinders education games with Math Bingo board games!

Who names their dog Donga??
I can barely figure out the Level 4 as I become an adult.
The underground area was home to sentient plants.
Omg I remember this I could never finish it
Finally I can see the whole thing
I always played this one before I knew how to read so it didn't work at all lol
I got my brother to do all the mini games for me
Well done fellows!! Ecology rocks.
Uh, Laptrap, that's fruit punch; not lemonade
Technically, that is pink lemonade.
Where did you find this
Internet Archive; it is a digital library website containing a variety of game software
Some of the cluefinder games are too hard in my opinion.
I prefer the ents from the Fangorn Forest in Middle Earth and trees from Narnia more these mutant plants.
Jody and her friend fell into a hole 🕳️! 1:50
Here Doggy Doggy dinner. Lol.

What the hell did they do to Leslie?!
That red head girl is fine.
3 and 4 were the only good ones. This is trash
