Kudos for the Video! Forgive me for butting in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you researched - Taparton Energetic Limbs Takeover (do a google search)? It is a great exclusive product for preparing yourself for a mega drought without the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my BF at last got astronomical results with it.

Myself as an American only take one shower per day at most. I use common sense and if there is a day I am not very active I don't shower that day but I will wash my face, hands ect ect (using water to wet, then soap and water to rinse).
I don't do this because I have a drought or water shortage but because I appreciate that I have it and not using common sense will help to make it so that I could not have it in the future or my child or when my son has children....We must respect what we have and not take any of it for granted; for today's world is not guaranteed tomorrow

There may be more companies now, but in 2008, I took a 16-day retreat with 35 other people at the Trijang Buddhist Institute in Northfield, Vermont. The entire place uses Clivus Waterless Toilets. Say, I have to pee. I push a button on top of the toilet that lets slide a bio-degradable soapy water just to wet the sides of the toilet. As I sit, a slight pulling of air goes down the toilet so there is no odor. Finished, I push the button once more, and another slide of the organic soap mixture slides all down a pipe to the basement, where there is a large drawer filled with wood chips to absorb all the organic waste. When it is full, the monks carry the drawer to the woods and spread them as fertilizer to the natural growth.
Not even 1/4 gallon of water was used for one toilet deposit.

8 gallons for a 2 minute shower is never as good as 4 gallons in 4 minutes. That is, in California, they mandate a restricted showerhead, with optimal spray patterns. To do this, use either a Niagara brand or Delta Hybrid showerhead; can use a half to one and half gallon per minute. My shower uses 1.5 gpm in California, and I didn't even know it until I measured it, thinking I was wasting more water all of these years.
Second, faucets need aerators. They cut water usage to a quarter gallon per minute in bathrooms, perfect for brushing teeth and rinsing.
Finally, use an ecowash car wash system. I don't do this, but it can help you wash a car without water.
I'm surprised the hotel and folks AJ+ interviewed didn't already implement these easier to follow restrictions.

In east Europe , where a country is in the EU people still dont even have tab water, they use moistly outdoor wooden toliets, and if its cold use the indoor toilet but cant flush . all water is taken from the well, or rain water to flush the toilets and taking a shower happened 1 time per 1 week. During summer there is shortage of water all the time where the well becomes empty. Maybe you should come visit here in Europe and not interview people with such good conditions of even having a tap .

Desalination plants?????????? There's a goddamn sea right there..... Yes i know its expensive.. but it's only like $3 per gallon... In comparison to freshwaters $2 per gallon..... They don't have to go through drought like this, just increase water prices in times like these so people conserve as they wish and pay the price.. + The more use of desalination plants makes them more cheaper over time.
