I really wanted MusicMaster vs. Tali in the finals & predicted Tali will win it all. But damn, Sergioramos played well the whole tournament! These are the things that were impressive from Sergioramos: (Semi-finals to finals)
1. The cannon cart ban - Tali loves playing the cannon cart. I noticed he plays the cannon cart ice wiz ice olem deck when the match is 1-1. It is his go to deck.
1. Game 3 of him vs Tali. Both revealed their Mega knight. At 0:45 of game 3 when they reached 10 elixir, Tali placed the Mega knight behind the King tower on the left side. Sergioramos predicted that so he rushed the other side with the bandit and minions. Tali was forced to defend with ewiz and bats . After that, sergioramos had a healthy Inferno dragon for the mega knight of tali when the ewiz & bats was just played on the other side. That sealed the match.
3. The log ban - The usage of goblins from sergioramos were the x factor. Sergio always punished musicmaster with the goblins the entire best of 5. Musicmaster used zap only and we know that it's not enough to kill the goblins.
4. Deck choices - the Golem deck on game 2 really caught musicmaster off guard. He banned elixir collector so he thought Golem wont be played. Musicmaster obviously played the same mortar deck that got easily countered by sergio in game 3&4.
Well deserved victory for Sergioramos. Congrats!

I wish they made a playing field like that for yugioh with each card having its own unique animation. It would be such an awesome thing to see and would increase player base as everyone would love to get a chance to duel like they duel in the tv shows. Imagine podiums like these and when you set your cards down or summon monsters, you see them come to life before your very eyes on the field between the players. That’d be so badass I wish I knew how to invent something like that. I would make some type of scanner above the players to read what card is used and then animate it onto the playing field. Obviously set cards will just be facedown but anything faceup would be recognized by the computer scanner and then drawn onto the field. Could you imagine?
