Good job man, you have some solid fundementals for white belt. I'm gonna put some notes here for you to consider: 1:43 - you could have power half nelson. Because you have one hook in, if you power half the other side you would have more control to move to the choke. He is new too, but he could have turned into you and been in guard a few times with the way you were controlling. Good sub. 4:18 - Need frames, take the pressure off his hips or his crossface 5:20 - good sweep, it's not just a good bridge, but his post was trapped under your head that's why it worked, you see him try to post with the opposite arm but it's not enough. 10:20 - Side control was not worth the effort at this point focus on passing, taking mount. 13:28 - Pass, look for mount. 15:12 - Try not to let bigger guys get the underhook on you or head control. Don't just give it up, it's an important battle. 15:30 - Same thing, it's more important that a bigger guy doesn't get control of your head, you need frames and to fight that off. Watch Jordan teaches jiu jitsu: How to beat bigger & stronger opponents for the fundementals, you should be doing these every time someone is bigger. You have good training partners, keep grinding and working with these guys you will progress quickly.
OSS, love the feed back! Will have to implement this into future rolls, I really do appreciate it, you even but time stamps where I could go back to. Thank you so much!
Hell yea! Keep it up man. It feels amazing when you finally get it
Can’t wait to get to that level 🤙🏾
As a newer white belt if you are wondering if an upper belt is letting you work, they most likely are letting you work 😂.
Real talk 😂 I was like there’s no way
this is the way
Awesome idea. I started BJJ in April so I think we will be a similar level. Interested to see how you progress dude. Good luck!
OSS. Let’s continue to progress together!
