Mr Drake, I caught a 16" large mouth today at Wildwood Park. I was standing knee deep in the creek below a bluff. I was throwing a hellgramite. It was awesome! I had witnesses say they didn't know there was fish that big in this creek.

9/30/2024 it was going 93K indeed can be too strong. It depends where you fish 30K is good but if going down 7 mile island big river or little river if current to high is where spots can be at & smallmouth too & the further you go down the current will not be so fast. Little bear creek is a good area. Across buck island starting from that point the houses there is a good area of spots.
Going down further & this is only in October where the sun sets but you will have fun catching nothing but small mouths right down the TVA Colbert Combustion Turbines starting there where the rocks piles go about Qtr of a mile nothing but rocks ends at Cane Creek I can not promise they be there every day but for some reason small mouth do hang out there right at sunset they are on. I use Google maps.
