also if a muslim travels during Ramadan - he has an option of not fasting during his travels, he just has to fast skipped days after Ramadan.
and we take into account chronic illnesses and any other medical conditions that can prevent someone from fasting.
also all these people still pray, read Quran and worship God in other ways - because Ramadan is more than just not actually eating.
